Serving in new roles on head coach Ralph Isernia's staff are Jeff Dittman, who is now the defensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator, Nick Marcella, the new offensive coordinator, and Keith Larson, who is now the special teams coordinator.

    The University of Dubuque football team will open their 2018 spring football training on Tuesday, March 20 in the Veterans Memorial Training Center. The Spartans will return 103 players from the 2017 season. The offense will return seven starters, highlighted by the 1-2 punch Dwayne Allen Jr., and Maurice Herrion at tailback. Allen Jr. was a First Team All-Iowa Conference running back who led the team and the league in rushing in 2017.

    Hobart College Interim Director of Athletics Brian Miller announced today that Kevin DeWall '00 has been appointed the 24th head coach of the Statesmen football program. DeWall will be the first alum to lead Hobart on the gridiron since Francis L. "Babe" Kraus '24 guided the program in 1942. The 2000 Patriot League Men's Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year, DeWall received a bachelor's degree in biology at Hobart, earning Dean's List honors in each of his four years on campus where he was a member of the Orange Key and Druid honor societies.
