    MENOMONIE (October 26, 2019) - UW-Stout had a chance to win in the first overtime, but a missed field goal brought it to a second overtime. The offense scored on a 16 yard touchdown pass and the defense forced a fumble, recovered the ball and stormed the field for the 38-31 win over UW-Stevens Point Saturday at Don and Nona Williams Stadium.

    UW-Stout gave up a 17 point lead to fall behind 31-27, but the Blue Devils kept battling as Brian Alvarez caught a 73-yard pass to the UW-Stevens Point 7, and two plays later quarterback Hank Kujak hit brother Reggie Kujak for a 2-yard TD play and Stout took a 34-31 win over the Pointers Saturday at Williams Stadium on Senior Day and Military Appreciation Day.

    UW-Stout scored touchdowns by the pass, by the run and on special teams but it wouldn't be enough as the Blue Devils lost 28-21 to UW-La Crosse at Veterans Memorial Stadium Saturday.

    With the exception of two minutes late in the first half, UW-Stout played toe-to-toe with sixth-ranked Wartburg College, but in the end, it was those two minutes that made the difference in the game and the Knights came out of Don & Nona Williams Stadium with a 41-33 win Saturday night.
  • UW-Stout wins shootout with Loras College

    In a wild, wild west shootout, UW-Stout prevailed over Loras College, 52-42, Saturday in Dubuque, Iowa. The two teams combined for 1336 yards of total offense, with Stout compiling 534 yards of offense and Loras rolling up 792 yards of offense. In the final 2-minutes, 55-seconds of the second quarter, the two teams combined for four TDs, two each and Stout held a 28-21 halftime lead.
  • Blue Devils give 20th Bethel all they can handle for three quarters

    UW-Stout gave Bethel University all they could handle for three quarters, but the 20th-ranked Royals pulled away with three fourth quarter touchdowns to hand the Blue Devils a 35-20 season-opening loss at Don & Nona Williams Stadium Thursday. Stout quarterback Hank Kujak recorded career-bests in attempted passes, completions and total yards, and Brian Alvarez had a career day with 135 receiving yards.
  • Blue Devils come back, but late TD gives Pointers 31-24 win

    UW-Stout came back after falling behind 17-0 early and tied the game at 24 before a late touchdown run by the Pointers gave UW-Stevens Point a 31-24 victory over the Blue Devils. Senior running back Tanner Kuehn turned in a career-best 122 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries, including a 54-yarder late to tie the game with under seven minutes remaining.
  • Seniors shine, Stout scores 27 unanswered points in 34-23 win over Falcons

    After falling behind 23-7 with under a minute to go in the first half, UW-Stout came roaring back for a 34-23 victory behind huge days by Luke Bakkum, Aaron Jenny, Tanner Kuehn and Garrett Peterson on Senior Day at Don and Nona Williams Stadium Saturday afternoon.
  • Fast start by No. 13 Pioneers too much for Blue Devils to overcome

    Running back Tanner Kuehn and wide receiver Chris Pica-Anderson turned in career days and Stout's defense held Platteville to zero points in the second half, but the Blue Devils were unable to find paydirt as they fell 21-0 to 13th ranked Platteville at Don and Nona Williams Stadium Saturday afternoon. Defensively, Stout had five sacks on the afternoon, including 1.5 each from Iyen Ogbomoh and Jamie Rohrig.
  • Blue Devils blanked by top-ranked Warhawks

    UW-Stout held Whitewater to their lowest point total of the season, but the high-powered Warhawk offense proved to be too much as Stout fell 37-0 on Homecoming at Don and Nona Williams Stadium. For Stout, Matt Small had three catches for 73 yards while Collin Laursen led four Blue Devils in double digit tackles with 13 on the afternoon.
  • Ninth ranked Wartburg College downs UW-Stout, 45-14

    Wartburg College threw for six touchdown passes – three in the second period – and went on to a 45-14 win over UW-Stout Saturday night.
  • Stout's Aaron Jenny scored three TDs as Blue Devils tip Loras, 21-17

    The last time Aaron Jenny scored 18 points was last February at UW-Platteville, but that was on the basketball court. Jenny hauled in three touchdown receptions Saturday to lead UW-Stout to a 21-17 win over Loras College at Don and Nona Williams Stadium.

    UW-Stout led 19-7 heading into the final quarter, but host Dakota Wesleyan scored 16 unanswered points to take the season opener for both teams, 23-19, Saturday at Joe Quintel Field.

    Adolfo Pacheco's fourth consecutive hundred yard game wasnt enough, as the Blue Devils fell 19-14 to UW-Stevens Point. The teams combined to turn the ball over nine times as the rainy weather made playing conditions less than ideal.
  • Blue Devils Triumph 35-27 in Battle for I-94

    A second straight 100-yard game for Adolfo Pacheco, three Hank Kujak touchdown passes and five quarterback sacks by the defense led the Blue Devils to their first conference win of the season, 35-27 over UW-Eau Claire. With the win, the Blue Devils reclaimed the Battle for I-94 trophy.

    UW-La Crosse jumped out to an early 7-0 lead and never looked back, handing the Blue Devils a 21-3 loss on Homecoming at Don and Nona WIlliams Stadium. The Blue Devils only points came on a 42-yard Ricky Marteney field goal.
  • Blue Devils so close to pulling off win over eighth ranked Titans

    Stout nearly pulled off a huge comeback before two late turnovers doomed the team as they fell to UW-Oshkosh 28-26 on a rainy afternoon. Despite falling behind 21-0 in the first quarter, the Blue Devils mounted a serious comeback, outscoring Oshkosh 26-7 the rest of the way.

    UW-Stout quarterback Hank Kujak recorded his second 200-yard plus passing game, Trevor Morning caught 10 passes and Ricky Marteney booted two field goals as the Blue Devils defeated Jamestown College, 13-7, Saturday at rainy Rollie Greeno Stadium in Jamestown, ND. Defensively, Luke Bakkum had 15 tackles and a sack and David Lindell had 10 tackles

    Running back Eric Brown turned in a memorable last game for the Blue Devils, rushing for 136 yards on 24 carries and catching two passes for 86 yards and a touchdown. Despite his strong effort, UW-Stout's season came to an end as the Blue Devils fell to fifth-ranked UW-Oshkosh, 27-18 on Senior Day at Don and Nona Williams Stadium.
  • Pioneers blaze path through the airwaves on way to seven aerial TDs

    UW-Platteville scored seven passing touchdowns to take a 62-20 win over UW-Stout Saturday at Pioneer Stadium. The Pioneers' quarterback Bryce Corrigan was 23-of-34 for 356 yards and seven touchdowns. Trevor Whitehead had TD pass receptions of 57-, 40-, 10-, 64-yards, finishing with five receptions for 181 yards.
