November 16, 2021 Twelve Husson Eagles Receive CCC Football All-Conference Honors; Curran Named Defensive Lineman of the Year BIDDEFORD, Maine – Commonwealth Coast Football (CCC Football) announced the 2021 All-Conference Teams and major award winners on Tuesday (Nov. 16) afternoon. All seven CCC Football teams had student-athletes honored on this year's list with 63 student-athletes recognized in total. Endicott, Husson, and Western New England each had 12 selections to lead the group.
November 13, 2021 Husson Football Drops Regular Season Finale at Western New England SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Western New England scored 28 unanswered points as the Golden Bears defeated the Husson University football team, 35-10, on Saturday afternoon at Golden Bear Stadium in the Commonwealth Coast Football action. Both teams closed out the regular season as Western New England claimed second place in the standings with a 5-1 conference record while the Eagles finished third with a 4-2 record. Both teams finished with an overall record of 7-3.
November 6, 2021 Husson Football Defeats Salve Regina on Senior Day BANGOR, Maine - The Husson University football team scored the first 17 points as they defeated the Salve Regina Seahawks, 24-10, in Commonwealth Coast Football action on senior day at the Winkin Sports Complex. With the victory, the Eagles are 4-1 in conference play and 7-2 overall while the Seahawks drop to 3-2 and 8-2 overall. 
October 23, 2021 UNE, Husson Football to play the First Annual 'Lobster Trap Game' on Saturday BIDDEFORD, Maine - The University of New England and Husson University will compete in the inaugural Lobster Trap Game when the football programs meet for a Commonwealth Coast Conference clash on Saturday (Oct. 23) at UNE Blue Storm Stadium. The trophy, labeled as 'The Trap,' will go to the winning side each year.
October 23, 2021 Husson Football Captures First Annual Lobster Trap Game over UNE, 41-14 BIDDEFORD, Maine - Husson University outscored the University of New England by 27 over the final three quarters on its way to a 41-14 victory in the inaugural Lobster Trap Game at UNE Blue Storm Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
