Offense
QB Dru Smith, Jr., East Texas Baptist
Smith produced a career game vs. Louisiana College, breaking three ETBU single game records. He threw for 530 yards with 39 completions and six touchdowns in a 64-62 win at Louisiana College. He had touchdown passes of 60, 4, 34, 40, 20 and 6 yards. Down 21-16 headed into the second quarter, Smith guided ETBU to four scores for a 38-35 lead at the half. He also posted 32 yards rushing.
OL Ryan Merlau, Ryan DeMarinis, Gage Blair, Dante Capicchioni, Steven Bachie, Case Western ReserveThe Spartans offensive line helped Case accumulate 707 total yards, including 435 rushing yards, during the Spartans' 56-38 win at Washington U. The 435 yards on the ground were the second most in school history, while the 707 total yards represented a season-high for the Spartans, and were just 59 shy of the school single-game record. The unit also yielded just one sack in the game, as the CWRU offense notched its season-high in points scored. |
