Offense

QB Dru Smith, Jr., East Texas Baptist

Smith produced a career game vs. Louisiana College, breaking three ETBU single game records. He threw for 530 yards with 39 completions and six touchdowns in a 64-62 win at Louisiana College. He had touchdown passes of 60, 4, 34, 40, 20 and 6 yards. Down 21-16 headed into the second quarter, Smith guided ETBU to four scores for a 38-35 lead at the half. He also posted 32 yards rushing.

OL Ryan Merlau, Ryan DeMarinis, Gage Blair, Dante Capicchioni, Steven Bachie, Case Western Reserve

The Spartans offensive line helped Case accumulate 707 total yards, including 435 rushing yards, during the Spartans' 56-38 win at Washington U. The 435 yards on the ground were the second most in school history, while the 707 total yards represented a season-high for the Spartans, and were just 59 shy of the school single-game record. The unit also yielded just one sack in the game, as the CWRU offense notched its season-high in points scored.

RB Dayton Winn
Sr., Hendrix

Winn rushed for 281 yards and three touchdowns in the Warriors' 55-54 loss at Rhodes. Winn recorded 34 carries, averaging 8.3 yards per rush.

RB Chazz Middlebrook
So., MacMurray

Middlebrook rolled up 254 rushing yards for MacMurray and ran for four touchdowns for a second consecutive week as the Highlanders defeated Crown 42-35. Middlebrook has rushed for 521 yards in the past two weeks.

WR Kobe Williams
Fr., Pacific

Williams caught a Pacific school record 20 passes for 237 yards and two touchdowns in the 55-35 loss to Whitworth. The 20 receptions are the most by a player in NCAA Division III in 2016. 

WR Ty Abdul-Karim
Jr., Gettysburg

Abdul-Karim caught just four passes but he took them for 214 yards and a program-record tying three touchdowns in Gettysburg's 52-21 win over Moravian. Abdul-Karim's first reception went for an 87-yard score. His other touchdowns went for 46 and 64 yards. 

TE Nick Kiourkas
Jr., Whitworth

Kiourkas led the Pirate receivers with two touchdown receptions in Saturday's 55-35 win at Pacific. He finished with seven catches for 113 yards, 16.1 yards per reception.

Defense

DE Cal Durni
So., UW-Whitewater

Durni tied for the team lead with five tackles, including three for a loss and two sacks, to help the Warhawks to a 48-6 win at UW-Eau Claire. He helped stall consecutive Blugold drives early in the second quarter, stuffing JT Denhartog for a loss on second down on the first drive and sacking him on third down on Eau Claire's next possession to force a punt.

DT Chyron Brown-Wallace
Sr., St. Lawrence

Brown-Wallace finished with eight total tackles, four of them solo. He had two and a half tackles for loss, one of them in the end zone for a safety in a 26-14 win vs. Union.

DT Jake Glasser
Sr., Claremont-Mudd-Scripps

Glasser recorded 10 tackles, six of them solo in a 34-23 win vs. La Verne. He finished with three and a half tackles for loss, a sack and a forced fumble, to go along with four quarterback hurries.

DE Brandon Fleischmann
Sr., Southwestern

Fleischmann collected a team-high 10 tackles in Southwestern's 35-0 win at Austin College. He posted three and a half tackles for loss, including two sacks. He also broke up two passes and had a pair of quarterback hurries.

 

LB Kurtis Jolicoeur
So., Western New England

Jolicoeur recorded ten tackles, including one and a half for a loss of seven yards, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery, in Saturday's 48-25 win over Maine Maritime.

LB Tre' Tunstill
Jr., Thomas More

Tunstill helped anchor a Saints' defense that held Bethany to 242 yards of total offense. He finished the game with 13 tackles (five solo, eight assisted), including two tackles for a loss and one sack.

LB Chandler Crary
Jr., UW-Platteville

Crary had 14 total tackles, three and a half tackles for loss, a sack, and a pass breakup in the Pioneers' victory vs. UW-Stout.

 

CB Max Jean
So., Cortland

Jean made a career-high 12 tackles, 11 solo, and intercepted a pass in Cortland's 45-20 win vs. Morrisville State. His interception came in the end zone in the second quarter with the Red Dragons leading 24-7.

S Austin Brown
Sr., Wabash

Brown led the Wabash defense with 11 tackles, including nine solo stops. He also intercepted a pass and returned it 25 yards. Brown's interception was the 13th of his career. The Little Giants posted their second shutout of the season in a 28-0 win at Ohio Wesleyan.

S Mason Ross
Jr., Lakeland

Ross intercepted two passes in the first half as Muskies raced out to a 35-7 halftime lead on way to a 42-14 win over Concordia Chicago. He also tied for team lead with six tackles.

CB Brooks Hepp
So., DePauw

Hepp led the Tigers with 12 tackles, all of them solo, and had a team-high three pass breakups as DePauw defeated Denison 30-16.

Special teams

K Obie Brannon, Fr.
Berry

Brannon notched a game-winning 43-yard field goal in overtime, leading Berry to a 22-19 win vs. Millsaps. Brannon was 2-for-2 on both field goal attempts and PATs in the win, opening up the Vikings' scoring with a 35-yard field goal five minutes into the game. 

P Nathan Hawkins, Jr.
Simpson

Hawkins had three punts of 50-plus yards, including a 70-yarder that is tied for the second-longest in school history. He also had a 61 yarder and a 52-yarder. Five of his nine were inside the Nebraska Wesleyan 20, helping lead to a 49.0-yard average.

RET Cordell Harris, Sr.
Occidental

Harris did a little of everything, leading Oxy to a win in the Battle for the Shoes Rivalry Game. He returned a kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown, while also catching six passes, intercepting a pass and recording six tackles.

ST Justin Paige, Sr.
Catholic

Paige blocked two kicks and scored a touchdown after recovering his own block. Shenandoah was in field goal range on its final drive of the first half and a penalty on a missed attempt set up one free play on an untimed down. Paige busted through the line on the field goal attempt as he blocked the kick, scooped the loose ball and ran 77 yards for the score.
