Offense

 QB Billy Pine, Sr., Hartwick

Pine threw for 521 yards and three touchdown passes against Cortland in a 50-47 loss. He ran for another 82 yards to finish the game with 603 yards of total offense. His 603 yards is the second-highest single game total in NCAA Division III football this season. Pine threw for 329 yards and two touchdowns on 18 completions in the first half alone.

OL Caleb Riggleman, Anthony Jalowiec, Eric Canterbury, Brendan Mulholland, Payton Henderson, Marietta

Marietta's list of offensive accomplishments on Saturday is fairly extensive, including 624 yards of total offense, two 100-yard rushers for the first time in 13 seasons and a quarterback that threw five TD passes and was sacked once in a 62-56 win vs. Baldwin Wallace.

RB Lamar Carswell
So., Trine

Carswell ran for 322 yards on 23 carries, the most rushing yards in a Division III game this season, all in the first three quarters. His three TDs helped Trine roll up a 62-19 win vs. Concordia-Chicago. 

RB Casey Bright
Sr., Alfred

Bright ran for a career-high 221 yards on just 21 carries with two touchdowns (45 yards, 39 yards) in Alfred's 49-24 win at Morrisville State. He also caught four passes for 68 yards.

RB Chandler Carroll
Jr., Chicago

Carroll exceeded 100 yards rushing and receiving in UChicago's 38-34 comeback victory. He scored three times, including the game-winner with 1:04 left. Carroll ran for 112 yards on 23 carries and added nine catches for 114.

WR Brandon Box
Sr., Rhodes

Box finished with eight catches and a SAA record 190 yards receiving to go with a touchdown in the Lynx's 36-21 win over Sewanee. Rhodes won the Orgill Cup from Sewanee for the fifth straight time.

WR Esaun Mobley
Sr., FDU-Florham

Mobley had nine receptions for 145 yards and three touchdowns in the Devils' 32-28 win over Wilkes.

Defense

DE Robbie Peters
Jr., Coe

Peters had his first career interception, which he returned 50 yards for a touchdown to give Coe a 10 point lead late in a 37-34 win over Wartburg. He also had a career-high seven tackles, six solo, and half a sack.

DT Chyron Brown-Wallace
Sr., St. Lawrence

Brown-Wallace helped the Saints hold Springfield's triple option to just 107 yards rushing, 154 yards below its average. He had three tackles for loss among his 10 stops, forced two fumbles and recovered another.

DE Trever Zeibert
Jr., Eureka

Zeibert was credited with six sacks among his 10 total tackles in Eureka's 27-13 win vs. Greenville. He also blocked an extra point on the Panthers' first touchdown.

 

LB Tyler Gross
So., William Paterson

Gross led the Pioneers with 12 tackles, including four for loss and two and a half sacks, during an 18-13 win Oct. 1 against Montclair State. The victory snapped a 22-game Red Hawk win streak in the series.

LB Dan Loizos
Jr., Ithaca

Loizos anchored Ithaca's defense that held Utica 17 points, 50 total yards and 100 rushing yards below its season averages in a 23-14 victory. Loizos made a career-high 20 tackles (eight solo), forced a fumble, had two and a half tackles for loss and one and a half sacks.

LB Tristan Sandrosky
Jr., Waynesburg

Sandrosky spearheaded a terrific Waynesburg defensive effort that led to the Yellow Jackets picking up a 14-10 road win at Grove City. He piled up a game-high 13 tackles, 11 of which were solo stops, and two of the team's 11 tackles for loss. 

 

CB Blaze Barista
Fr., Dubuque

Barista was involved in half of Central's turnovers on Saturday, intercepting two passes and recovering a fumble in the Spartans' 35-17 win. He also registered four tackles, three solo.

S Mike Ward
Jr., Lycoming

Ward recovered two fourth-quarter fumbles and added an interception in a 24-21 four-OT loss to Widener. Both recoveries came with less than five minutes left in regulation and his second recovery led to a 41-yard TD that sent the game to OT. His pick came at the 1-yard line in the first OT.

S Andrew Baird
Sr., Denison

Baird broke his own Denison single-game record for tackles with 25 in a 21-14 win over Ohio Wesleyan. Baird posted nine solo and 16 assisted tackles, including half a tackle for loss, helping Denison to a 4-0 record. His 25 tackles are the most by a single player across all divisions of the NCAA.

S DJ Logory
Sr., St. John Fisher

Logory tallied 17 tackles, eight solo, and also intercepted a pass on Buffalo State's final possession to seal a 28-24 win. He also broke up a pass and had one tackle for loss.

CB Isaac Evans
So., Bridgewater (Va.)

Evans returned an interception 72 yards for a touchdown and had five additional pass breakups on the day in a 45-35 win vs. Hampden-Sydney. Evans racked up eight tackles, seven solo.

Special teams

K Willie Holmquist, Sr.
Tufts

Holmquist's 48-yard field goal with 35 seconds remaining before half vs. Bates is the longest by a NESCAC kicker since 2008. It gave Tufts a 6-0 lead. Holmquist was also good on a 22-yard FG for an early 3-0 lead as the Jumbos won a defensive struggle 12-7.

P Brandon Miller, Fr.
Lycoming

Miller averaged 44.3 yards on seven punts, with a long of 48 in a defensive battle vs. Widener. Lycoming allowed only 14 points in regulation in a 24-21, four-overtime loss.

RET Victor Bunce, Jr.
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps

Victor Bunce returned a punt 40 yards for a touchdown early in the third quarter to give CMS a 24-3 lead vs. Whittier, then outdid himself with a 58-yard punt return for a TD in the fourth quarter of a 45-13 win.

ST R.J. Pompey, Jr.
Lake Forest

Pompey blocked two St. Norbert field goal attempts on Saturday, helping the Foresters remain within striking distance in a 35-21 loss.
