Games of Nov. 11-12, 2016

Offense

 QB Matt Hunt, Sr., DePauw

Hunt accounted for all five DePauw touchdowns and totaled 400 yards of offense, which is the most by any DePauw player in a Monon Bell game. His 159 rushing yards were the most by a DePauw quarterback. Hunt engineered two scores in the final five minutes to rally the Tigers from deficits both times, one of which ended with his 50-yard TD run and the other with a 13-yard TD pass to his brother Andy for the win with 38 seconds left.

OL Patrick Riley, Riley Owens, Vic Rodriguez, Josh Maronski, Jonathan Castaneda, Hardin-Simmons

The Cowboy offensive line dominated up front to pave the way for 353 yards rushing and six touchdowns on the ground and the Cowboy quarterbacks had a clean pocket to go 18-for-23 with no sacks in a win over McMurry.

RB Wyatt Thompson
So., UW-Platteville

Thompson set a UW-Platteville record for rushing yards in the Pioneers' victory over UW-La Crosse, running for 316 yards on 30 carries. He also scored four touchdowns. Thompson averaged 10.5 yards a carry and his longest run was 58 yards.

RB Mike Miklusicak
Jr., Hope

Miklusicak posted third-highest single-game rushing total in Hope's 107-year history of football with 259 yards and two touchdowns on just 24 carries. Went over 1,000 yards for the season, joining teammate Brandan Campbell as the first Hope running backs to eclipse 1,000 yards in the same season. Helped secure a six-game win streak to end season.

WR DeShawon Bracy
Fr., Thiel

Bracy had eight catches for 218 yards and three scores in a win at Grove City. It was Bracy's second 200-plus receiving yard game of the season. Bracy's 46-yard touchdown catch from Ryan Radke with 3:08 remaining was the game-winning score for the Tomcats. Radke also connected with Bracy for a 48-yard completion to seal the game in the waning seconds.

WR Kobe Williams
Sr., Pacific

Williams posted his sixth 100-yard receiving game of the season with 157 yards and 11 receptions in a 39-35 win over Puget Sound. He also tied the school record with four touchdown receptions.

TE Matt Page
Sr., Washington U.

Page hauled in a career-high nine catches for 191 yards and a pair of touchdowns in WashU's 43-34 win at Chicago. Page had a pair of touchdown receptions: a 14-yarder in the first and a 58-yarder in the second.

Defense

DE Tom Hagan
Sr., Cortland

Hagan recorded two and a half tackles for loss, including two of Cortland's eight sacks, in the Red Dragons' 28-16 win vs. Ithaca in the annual Cortaca Jug rivalry game. He also blocked a PAT kick after Ithaca's first touchdown.

DT Nicholas Bruzzese
Sr., Utica

Bruzzese exploded with a school record four and a half sacks to help guide the Pioneers to a victory in their Empire 8 finale Saturday at Hartwick. He led Utica with eight tackles on the day, five tackles for loss.

DT Chyron Brown-Wallace
Sr., St. Lawrence

Brown-Wallace went out with a bang in the last game of his senior season for the Saints, recording eight tackles, all solo, including five tackles for loss and two sacks in a win at WPI.

DE D'On Coofer
Fr., Rhodes

Coofer picked up 10 tackles to go with two and a half tackles for loss, two sacks, and a forced fumble in the Lynx thrilling 37-31 double overtime win at Millsaps. In a 3-3 tie, Coofer rushed the edge and sacked Ty Proctor, forcing a fumble that Rhodes recovered deep in Major territory, leading to the game's first touchdown. In the second overtime, with Rhodes leading 37-31, Coofer got a sack on fourth down.

LB Will Longthorne
Sr., DePauw

Longthorne was in on 10 tackles, eight solo. He also blocked a Wabash field goal attempt in the first half that preserved a 17-10 DePauw lead and ended up being the difference in the 37-34 win.

LB Jason Disney
Sr., Howard Payne

Disney tied his season high with 17 tackles, nine solo, while forcing a fumble and recovering a blocked extra point for two points. Disney finishes his career as a Jacket with 396 total tackles, nearly averaging 10 per game (9.9) over four seasons.

LB Donavan Hayden
Sr., Bethany

Hayden collected a game-high 16 tackles (nine solo) in win over St. Vincent to become the Bethany all-time leader with 360 career tackles. He added four and a half tackles for loss, including a sack, to help the Bison rally from down 31-13 in the fourth quarter and win 32-31.

CB Obi Etuka
Sr., Western New England

Etuka led the Golden Bears defense with ten tackles, one pass breakup and one interception on Saturday as Western New England improved to 10-0 with a 36-29 win over Coast Guard.

S Don Vivian
So., Colby

Vivian had a career-high 14 tackles, one and a half tackles for loss, a fourth quarter interception, and a key blocked field goal in the Mules' 32-16 win over Bowdoin. The Mules were leading 13-3 when Vivian blocked a 44-yard field goal attempt. After Colby took a 29-10 lead in the fourth quarter, Vivian intercepted a pass and rambled 29 yards down the right sideline to the Bowdoin 12 with 5:13 left.

S Jacob Wuesthoff
Sr., Puget Sound

Wuesthoff had a season-high 17 tackles, 15 solo and an interception returned 47 yards for a touchdown, the second of his career.

CB Ben Marcus
So., Washington U.

Marcus had 15 tackles, two interceptions and a half tackle for loss in WashU's 43-34 win at the University of Chicago. Marcus' first interception in the end zone stalled a 10-play, 79-yard drive in the second quarter, while his second pick with 1:25 left in the fourth quarter sealed the victory.

Special teams

K Alex Beekman, Jr.
Pacific

Beekman made three extra-point attempts and four field-goal attempts in the 39-35 win over Puget Sound. He made field goal kicks of (34, 42, 22, 37) on the day, with the 42-yarder matching a career-long.

P Johnny Davidson, Fr.
Washington U.

Davidson averaged 44.8 on six punts in WashU's 43-34 win at Chicago on Saturday. Davidson had a career-long 58-yard punt in the first quarter, and also added two inside the 20. WashU's punt team limited Chicago to minus-6 yards in the win.

RET Vinny Pallini, Fr.
St. Thomas

Pallini did something in the Tommies' home win over St. Olaf that few modern collegians have the opportunity to do. He returned a kickoff 96 yards for a TD, then kicked the PAT to account for all seven points on the sequence. A standout kicker in high school, Pallini scored his second collegiate touchdown and converted first PAT attempt.

ST Tyler Hodges, So.
Lebanon Valley

Hodges made two tackles on kick coverage, recovered a fumble on a muffed punt that set up LVC's first touchdown of the game, and sealed a thrilling 28-25 victory by blocking the potential game-tying 39-yard field goal attempt as time expired to end Albright's seven-game win streak and deny the Lions a share of the MAC title.
