RB Jarred Lackey, Jr., Central
The former quarterback, defensive back, linebacker and slotback was moved to running back less than two weeks before the opening game. Lackey came off bench and in the second quarter, on first carry as a running back, ran for 61-yard touchdown for Central's first TD in 40-17 win at Lakeland (Wis.). His 46-yard run on Central's next possession set up another score. He averaged 20.4 yards a carry.

RB Caleb Jennings, Jr., Emory and Henry
Jennings picked up where he left off as he collected 250 all-purpose yards and scored the game-winning touchdown with 14 seconds to play on an 11-yard catch-and-run against Ferrum. On that final drive, the Wasps covered 69 yards in 14 plays, including a crucial fourth-down pickup on a carry by Jennings. He finished the day with 163 yards rushing that included a 37-yard touchdown. He also had three catches for 49 yards and a score, as well as 38 yards between kickoff and punt returns.

WR Noah Koreman, Sr., Hartwick

He hooked up with quarterback Brian Radley for a 56-yard touchdown reception to open up a 14-6 first-quarter lead and he also caught a 35-yard TD pass early in the third to put Hartwick up by 22 points.

WR Jeremy Gezella, Sr., St. Norbert
Gezella hauled in an 8-yard touchdown pass on the final play of regulation to force overtime leading to a 42-35 overtime St. Norbert win over Wartburg. Gezella's 12 receptions tied a school record and his 179 receiving yards is the 11th best in school history.

Jones also forced a fumble which was recovered by UW-L and led to a touchdown on the next play from scrimmage.

LB Kyle Supianoski, Sr., UW-Whitewater
Supianoski helped key a defense which limited Dickinson State to 2.3 yards per rush, 6-for-19 passing, and 109 total yards. He had eight tackles, five solo, including a tackle for loss.

Prosser led the Lions defense in a 27-19 win at Wilmington, recording a team-high 16 tackles, including two tackles for loss and a forced fumble.

LB Bill Aukerman, Sr., Denison
Aukerman's 64-yard interception return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter sealed Denison's 37-20 victory over Kalamazoo. Leading 30-20 with eight minutes to play, Kalamazoo was in Denison territory trying to cut the lead to three until Aukerman broke in front of a Brandon Luczak pass for his first career interception and first career touchdown. The starting linebacker also posted a sack and four solo tackles.

DB Zach Debeltz, Jr., Concordia-Moorhead
Zach Debeltz intercepted two passes and had a team-high 11 tackles in Concordia's 24-17 win against No.8 Willamette. Debeltz helped key a defense that did not allow the Bearcat offense to gain a first down in the second and third quarters. For the game the Cobbers held Willamette to 229 yards of total offense and 3-for-14 on third down conversions. Debeltz's second interception came in the fourth quarter as Willamette was driving for a score. He picked off a pass in the end zone after the Bearcats had the ball at Concordia's 6-yard line.

DB Don Bladt, Sr., Cornell
Bladt intercepted three passes for 90 yards in helping Cornell snap an 18-game losing streak with a 28-21 win against Grinnell. Bladt returned a 60-yard interception return for a touchdown in the third quarter and prevented another touchdown with an interception in the end zone for a touchback in the fourth quarter. His first interception of the day was in the second quarter, which he returned 30 yards that set up Cornell's first touchdown.

DB Aaron Monk, Jr., Thomas More

K Tony Smidl, Sr., UW-Platteville
Smidl made all three field goal attempts, and tied his career-long of 43 yards in the process, during UW-Platteville's 15-10 win against Buena Vista. He also played a major role in the Pioneers' victory with a booming kickoff that landed in the end zone with 3:09 to play, forcing the Beavers to (unsuccessfully) drive 80 yards for a potential winning score.

P Christian Hallingstad, Fr., UW-La Crosse
Hallingstad, playing in his first collegiate game, averaged 37.8 yards on six punts in UW-L's season-opening 28-13 victory at East Texas Baptist. He had a long punt of 47 yards and had one inside the 20-yard line.

In five touches on the day, Waldvogel had 213 all-purpose yards. He had a 15-yard run and one catch for 18 yards. In his last five college games he has three punt returns for TDs.
