Sticking the landing

Sul Ross State quarterback James Davis was scrambling and on the run with the Lobos facing a third-and-long in the fourth quarter. And the Lobos moved the chains, as Stephen Savedra came down with the catch and stuck the landing with both feet inbounds. It's the D3football.com Play of the Week.

We solicit video of top plays from every Division III football program and this was our top clip.

Week 10 Play of the Week finalists

Here are some great plays which deserved extra mention:

Fly sweep, double reverse, flea flicker, leads to a 50-yard touchdown for Wendell O'Brien as part of Cal Lutheran's win vs. Occidental. And this play has been all sorts of place in Division III this season.

Linfield running back Sutter Choisser goes beast mode, fighting his way without blockers for a 22-yard touchdown run in the Wildcats' 33-7 win at Puget Sound. This was the winner of the fan vote!

Chuck English goes up high for a one-handed interception for Capital in a 27-21 loss to Marietta. If only he could have put a move on the Pioneers' quarterback!

And because you can never have enough one-handed interceptions, Tim Huffam makes a diving, one-handed interception of Salve Regina as WNEU defeated the Seahawks 41-22 to clinch the NEFC automatic bid.
