He threw his third touchdown pass to give the team a 28-21 lead. Welp secured the victory with a 19-yard touchdown run. Welp went 32-of-45 for 345 yards and gained 49 yards on the ground.

OL Bubba Friedlund, Joshua Perkins, Ben Bjork, Dillon Crum, Stein Johnson, Bethel
Bethel's offensive line was crucial in the Royals' 35-24 victory over No. 22-ranked St. Thomas. In that drive, Bethel amassed 83 yards via 13 rushes and four passes.

RB Jeremiah McKibbins, Sr., Chapman
McKibbins had 211 yards rushing on just 13 carries to help Chapman to a 45-21 win its first win at Cal Lutheran since 1997. Two minutes into the third quarter he ripped off a 68-yard run to give the Panthers a 21-14 lead. He then turned a one-touchdown lead into a 28-14 advantage with less than two minutes left in the third quarter for another 68-yard run.

RB Jake Forsythe, Sr., Waynesburg
Forsythe carried the ball 24 times for 200 yards and three touchdowns, leading the Yellow Jackets to their fourth consecutive win on Saturday, a 35-32 victory over Thiel. He's the program's first 1,000-yard rusher since 2007.

WR Rudy Rudolph, Sr., Christopher Newport

TE Eric Nelson, Sr., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Nelson had his second consecutive 100-yard receiving day and finished with three grabs for 103 yards and two touchdowns. His 72-yard scoring catch in the second quarter gave UMHB a 17-6 lead and started the Cru's run out to a 72-16 win vs. Texas Lutheran.

Defense

DE James Dambacher, Sr., Illinois College
Dambacher recirded nine tackles (three solo) and two pass breakups from his defensive end spot. He was also a part of four and a half tackles for loss, including a 10-yard sack of Lake Forest quarterback Anthoney Prestly.

DT Ryan Armstrong, Sr., Olivet
Armstrong was a disruptive force on the Comets' defense in the team's 30-14 win over Kalamazoo. He had 12 total tackles, seven and a half for lost yardage, including three and a half sacks. One of the sacks was in the end zone for a safety. The seven and a half tackles for loss tied for the fifth-most in NCAA D-III history.

DT Payton Rose, Sr., Wesley
Rose recorded four tackles and broke up five passes in Wesley's win vs. Virginia-Lynchburg. He had two and a half tackles for loss and forced a fumble, in which the ball rolled out of the end zone for a safety.

DE Trevor Tanck, Sr., Lakeland
Tanck finished with three sacks and forced a fumble in the Muskies' 14-0 shutout of Aurora. The forced fumble came when the score was 7-0. Tanck had six tackles, all solo stops.

LB Steve Barroso, Jr., Albright
Barroso had nine tackles, two tackles for loss, an interception and a pass broken up in the Lions' 30-24 double-overtime victory over King's. With the Monarchs driving for a go-ahead score early in the third quarter Barroso intercepted a pass at the Albright 13-yard line helping the Lions protect a slim lead, and in the second overtime with King's facing fourth-and-2 on the Albright 5-yard line Barroso made the tackle short of the first-down marker.

LB Evan Lloyd, Fr., Pomona-Pitzer
Lloyd stopped two Whittier drives in Sagehens territory in the second half, one with a sack, forced fumble and recovery, and another when he shot through the line on fourth-and-1 to tackle the running back for a 1-yard loss. He added 12 tackles, two tackles for loss and a pass breakup as well in a 24-0 win vs. Whittier.

LB Marcus Jemison, So., Hobart
Jemison recorded six tackles as the Statesmen defense limited RPI to season-lows of 218 yards of offense and just three points. He counted four solo stops among his tackles and a career-high three sacks.

CB Leondre Simmon, Jr., St. Lawrence
Simmon had his first career multi-interception game on Saturday in St. Lawrence's 21-7 win over Springfield. Simmon had a pick inside the 15-yard line and another on the Pride's final drive of the game to clinch the Saints victory. He also had three tackles including his first tackle for a loss this season.

S Alex Jackson, Sr., Millsaps
Jackson broke into the backfield to bust up an option pitch, then took the fumble 47 yards for a score on the final play of the third quarter in Millsaps' win over Sewanee. In addition to the scoop and score, Jackson had eight stops, one for loss and broke up a key pass that led to a missed field goal on the drive.

S Maurice Young, Fr., Loras
Young returned an interception 53 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter of Loras' 27-24 win at Simpson. The pick-six put Loras up 27-17 with 9:20 to play. He finished the game with five tackles (four solo), a forced fumble and a pass breakup as Loras posted its first conference win since Sept. 29, 2012.

CB TJ Bulock, Fr., LaGrange
Bulock had an interception on the final play of the game to seal LaGrange's 24-17 win over Huntingdon. He also had 14 tackles (10 solo), a tackle for loss and a forced fumble.

Special teams

K Cody Ausherman, Sr., Methodist
Ausherman kicked field goals of 29, 41, 43, 42, and 39 yards. The 43-yarder came as time expired in regulation and forced overtime, the 42-yarder was in the first OT, and 39-yarder was the game-winner in the second overtime.

P Ben Dudley, So., Millsaps
Dudley had three punts for an average of 49 yards, with all the kicks landing inside the 20. Additionally, the hang time of the punts prevented any of them from being returned.

ST Andy Bryan, Jr., John Carroll
Bryan blocked two punts -- one resulted in a safety, the other led to an 8-yard touchdown pass the very next play. He also returned a punt block for a touchdown in a 71-7 win vs. Capital.

RET Ira Jewitt, Sr., Louisiana College
Jewitt set an American Southwest Conference record for longest punt return, as he took a 91-yard return to the end zone in a 52-49 win over rival East Texas Baptist. It was Jewitt’s seventh career touchdown coming on defense or special teams.
