Well see, here's the kicker

More news about: Wabash

You may think you've seen this play already, but as always, we have bonus footage to show you. Wabash kicker Schuyler Nehrig's field goal attempt in the third quarter vs. Ohio Wesleyan was blocked. But he recovered it just behind the line of scrimmage and ran it into the end zone for a touchdown. Nehrig scored all of Wabash's points, but it ended up in a 16-13 loss. It's the D3football.com Play of the Week.

We solicit video of top plays from every Division III football program and this was our top clip.

Week 7 Play of the Week finalists

Here are some great plays which deserved extra mention:

Freshman quarterback Bobby Maimaron scrambles to keep the play alive, then finds Frank Stola in back of the end zone for a touchdown to lift Williams to a 27-26 win at Middlebury. (Note, this was the final play of the game. The officials failed to force Williams to line up and attempt the extra point.)

Dezmund Hunter intercepted a pass in the end zone to finish the game and preserve a victory for Cortland vs. No. 17 Alfred. The interception gave the Red Dragons a 20-17 overtime win.

AJ Daniels throws a 32-yard touchdown pass to quarterback Frederick Hover to give Southwestern an early 6-0 lead at Belhaven. Hover went on to throw for a touchdown, rush for a touchdown, and catch a touchdown en route to seven total TDs in the Pirates' 60-31 win over the Blazers.

As great a play the final interception was in this game, this might be the heads-up play of the day in Division III. After a bad snap, Cortland running back Johnnie Akins scooped up the ball, ran forward and dove to barely break the plane to tie the game at 17-17.
