It had been a pretty disastrous series for Kalamazoo. The Hornets started at their own 26 but took a 21-yard sack, an intentional grounding penalty, and were sacked again to the 1-yard line. So when George Fishback lined up to punt, there wasn't much room to work with. That's when Trevor Wyman got through and blocked the punt, and Javon Moore was right in the right spot to receive the carom and convert it into a touchdown, rather than a safety.
