Answers on offense

More news about: Johns Hopkins

Johns Hopkins sophomore Stuart Walters cuts his way through the Randolph-Macon defense on his way to a 22-yard touchdown as the Blue Jays answered some offseason questions about their offense in a 42-3 season-opening victory.

We solicit video of top plays from every Division III football program and this was our top clip.

Week 1 Play of the Week finalists

  • On Pacific's kickoff, College of Idaho's Elijah Carter fielded the ball at his own 13-yard line and streaked down the field 87 yards for the touchdown. On the next kickoff, Pacific's Bronson Barretto broke a number of tackles and took advantage of some good blocking to run back 95 yards for the touchdown. It is the first kickoff return for a touchdown since the Pacific program was reinstated in 2010. Watch
  • Ethan Buresh gets the roll started for Wabash, picking off a Nash Nance pass and returning it 41 yards for a touchdown for the Little Giants. Watch
  • Kicker Tyler Brandenburg chases down Sul Ross State's Uriah Mosley on a kickoff return. Mosely appeared to be on his way to a 100-yard kickoff return for TD, but Brandenburg refused to give up on the play and ran Mosely down over the last 65 yards, stopping Mosely at the 1. Watch
  • Alec Fisher makes an arm-extended one-handed grab look super easy in a win by Rose-Hulman over Kalamazoo. Watch
  • Chance Sheffield returns a tipped ball interception 45 yards for a touchdown, increasing UMHB's lead to 30-7 at Millsaps as part of a 23-point third-quarter outburst that changed the nature of the game. Watch
  • Sean Titus returns a fourth quarter interception 36 yards for a touchdown to seal a 19-7 victory over No. 15 Rowan. Watch
