The reverse flea-flicker, with a spin move on top

More news about: Huntingdon

First it's a handoff, then a reverse, then a flea-flicker as Huntingdon quarterback Luke Bailey gets the ball back and finds Brantley Carr downfield, who makes a spinning catch for a touchdown to help the Hawks defeat Christopher Newport 51-31. It's the D3football.com Play of the Week.

We solicit video of top plays from every Division III football program and this was our top clip.

Week 6 Play of the Week finalists

  • Stop us if you've seen this one before. It's an incredibly athletic play from a special player as Lemar Johnson vaults the defender to get into the end zone and give Morrisville State the lead in a game it goes on to win vs. Kean. Watch
  • That wasn't the only amazing play in that game. Watch as Damian Corredor pulls the ball out of the very back of the end zone and returns it 100 yards for a touchdown. Watch
  • We've seen so many pristine fields in recent years, but here's a throwback to those ancient times of the 1990s as Maryville's Trenton Shular makes a cut in the mud and takes it 73 yards for a touchdown. Watch
  • Alex Hodakowski hits Quincy Marting for a 62-yard touchdown on a fake punt to put Wash U. up 31-0 over Hendrix. Marting broke three tackles to find the end zone to help the Bears bounce back from a disappointing start to the season. Watch
