June 23, 2021 Maritime to NEWMAC in 2023 The NEWMAC lost Maine Maritime from its conference for football when the school eliminated its football program, but the conference will return to one-fourth seafaring in the fall of 2023 when SUNY-Maritime takes that spot.
September 8, 2019 Norwich tops Salve Regina 22-19 in instant classic season opener NEWPORT, R.I. – Junior wide receiver Manni Romero (Phillipsburg, N.J.) caught a five-yard touchdown pass from junior quarterback Matt Dunn (Rockland, Mass.) with 1:46 left in the game to lift the Norwich University football team to a 22-19 victory over Salve Regina in the 2019 season opener.
