    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The nationally ranked No. 19 Ithaca College football team beat the host Springfield College Pride at their own game in an NCAA First Round matchup at Stagg Field on November 18 and came away with a 21-7 victory. The Bombers are now 9-2 on the season and are 31-9 all-time against Springfield.

    ITHACA, N.Y. – The 64th Cortaca Jug Game lived up to all the hype, as always, but the nationally ranked No. 14 Ithaca College football team fell to No. 15 Cortland, 38-28, at Bertino Field at Butterfield Stadium. The loss drops Ithaca to 8-2 to conclude the regular season and the Bombers will find out who and where they will play on Sunday evening as part of the NCAA Selection Show at 5 p.m. Cortland finishes the regular season at 9-1.

    ITHACA, N.Y. – The Cortaca Jug rivalry has returned to South Hill for the first time in six years as the 64th Jug Game between the No. 14 Ithaca College football team and No. 15 Cortland will be played at Bertino Field at Butterfield Stadium this Saturday, November 11 at 12 p.m. Both teams are 8-1 on the season and have clinched their spots in the upcoming NCAA Division III Championship.

    CANTON, N.Y. - In Saturday’s Liberty League finale, the nationally ranked No. 15/16 Ithaca College football team continued to keep their foot on the gas following their title-clinching victory last weekend. The Bombers traveled to St. Lawrence and dominated all three aspects of the game. IC put on an all-around performance, controlling the ground game, creating challenging third-down situations for St. Lawrence and special teams' turnovers. Despite a few penalties, Ithaca consistently rose to the occasion, giving the Saints issues from the first snap and securing a 51-14 victory to improve to 8-1 on the season and close out Liberty League play with a perfect 6-0 record.

The Bombers are now 5-1 on the season and 3-0 in the Liberty League, while Union takes its first loss of the season and is now 6-1.

    Troy, N.Y. – The nationally ranked No. 16/18 Ithaca College football team embarked on an overnight road trip to face off against the undefeated RPI Engineers  on Saturday afternoon in a Liberty League matchup. With the Bombers having three consecutive wins under their belt, including last week’s home victory against Hobart College, Ithaca wanted to maintain their momentum. IC did just that, defeating RPI, 20-17, in overtime on a 34-yard field goal by Derek Baldin.

    ITHACA, N.Y. - The nationally ranked No. 17/18 Ithaca College football team looked to improve on their two-game winning streak on Saturday at Bertino Field at Butterfield Stadium, returning to play against Hobart College Statesmen after a bye week. Ithaca would end up continuing its winning ways, defeating the Statesmen by a score of 24-14 to advance to 3-1 on the season, and handing Hobart its first loss of the season. The Bombers are now 18-0 all-time at home against the Statesmen.

    ITHACA, N.Y. – The Associated Press released its Division III Football All-Americans on December 15 and Jake Villanueva, a senior offensive lineman for Ithaca College, was voted to the second team. The AP is the second of three outlets to release All-America teams for the 2022 season, as the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) already revealed its selections and D3football.com will announce its teams over the next few days.

    ITHACA, N.Y. - The American Football Coaches Association released its regional coaches of the year on December 6 for the 2022 season and Ithaca College head coach Michael Toerper was selected as Division III Region 1 Coach of the Year. The AFCA will announce the 2022 National Coaches of the Year winners in FBS, FCS, Division II, Division III and NAIA on Monday, January 9. The Regional winners in each division are finalists for National Coach of the Year.

Ithaca, which is now 12-0 on the season, overcame a 10-point first quarter deficit to continue its season. The Bombers move onto the third round, where they will square off with No. 1 North Central on December 3 in Naperville, Ill.
