ITHACA, N.Y. – The Associated Press released its Division III Football All-Americans on December 15 and Jake Villanueva, a senior offensive lineman for Ithaca College, was voted to the second team. The AP is the second of three outlets to release All-America teams for the 2022 season, as the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) already revealed its selections and D3football.com will announce its teams over the next few days.
ITHACA, N.Y. - The American Football Coaches Association released its regional coaches of the year on December 6 for the 2022 season and Ithaca College head coach Michael Toerper was selected as Division III Region 1 Coach of the Year. The AFCA will announce the 2022 National Coaches of the Year winners in FBS, FCS, Division II, Division III and NAIA on Monday, January 9. The Regional winners in each division are finalists for National Coach of the Year.

The New York Yankees have announced that the 2022 Cortaca Jug football game between Ithaca College and SUNY Cortland at Yankee Stadium will be broadcast live on the YES Network. As a result, the kickoff time for the game on Saturday, Nov. 12, has been changed from 1:00 p.m. to noon.

After a national search, Ithaca is thrilled to announce that Michael Toerper has been named as the next head coach of the Ithaca football program. A former defensive coordinator for the Bombers, Toerper has been an assistant coach at Holy Cross.
Dan Swanstrom, the head coach of the Ithaca football program for the past five years, has announced that he will be returning to the University of Pennsylvania to serve as the offensive coordinator for the Quakers.
