No. 3 UW-Oshkosh moved into first place all alone in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, beating a strong opponent on the road while most of the rest of the Top 25 was enjoying blowout victories.

Another competitive game, between No. 4 North Central and Wheaton, was delayed for 2 hours, 11 minutes by weather in the opening minutes and at halftime, it was determined that the game would be suspended and would resume at 6 p.m. CT on Monday. North Central leads, 14-7. Wheaton, as per school policy, will not play an athletic event on Sunday.

No. 9 UW-Plattevile scored on a 47-yard interception return for a touchdown, which Luke Johnson tipped to himself to tie the game at 7-7 early in the second quarter. However, the Pioneers came up empty on five trips inside the UW-Oshkosh 30-yard line, including bypassing a 28-yard field goal attempt, getting sacked out of field goal range after a first down at the 13, throwing an interception at the 25 and coming up short at the 21 on a fourth-down play.

Meanwhile, Oshkosh quarterback Brett Kasper had big plays of 28 yards and 31 yards, the latter Dylan Hecker's touchdown run to make it 14-7. Kasper added another big connection of 38 yards to Riley Kallas to set up Hecker's third score, and a 45-yarder up the sidelines to Sam Mentkowski set up the final TD of the game, a 21-yard pass to Dom Todarello. Hecker finished with 165 yards on 30 carries, while Mitch Gerhartz had 54 yards in relief as well in the 28-14 win. It was the first loss of the season for UW-Platteville.

No. 19 Berry stifled the high-powered Hendrix offense, limiting the Warriors to 222 yards of total offense, including minus-8 yards rushing in a 34-10 win. The Vikings sacked much-ballyhooed Hendrix quarterback Miles Thompson seven times while Berry quarterback Slade Dale was 13-for-17 passing for two touchdowns and ran for 77 yards and two more scores. With Trinity (Texas) picking up a loss Saturday at Centre, Berry is alone in first place in the SAA.

No. 10 Delaware Valley held the King's offense 200 yards below its season average and picked off three passes in a 49-14 rout. Shawn Miller had two of the interceptions for the Aggies defense, while Dashawn Darden threw for 357 yards and four touchdowns in the win. Darden also caught a touchdown on an option pass by Khalil Roane. The Aggies limited Zach Whitehead to 16-for-42 passing for 160 yards and one touchdown.

Top-ranked UMHB scored 48 points over the middle two quarters in a 65-0 win vs. Howard Payne, while No. 2 Mount Union scored 56 before halftime in a 72-14 win vs. Capital. D'Angelo Fulford completed 13 of 17 passes, six of them touchdowns.

No. 14 Wesley got 185 rushing yards from E.J. Lee, his sixth consecutive 100-plus yard game, and defeated Kean 29-8. Wesley had 215 yards through the air and 213 on the ground in the win, the Wolverines' fifth in a row after an opening-week loss.

No. 13 Brockport scored on its first eight offensive possessions and limited Morrisville State to 167 yards of total offense as the Golden Eagles improved to 6-0 with a 48-7 win. Joe Germinerio had an efficient day behind center, completing 19 of 23 passes (82.6%) for 288 yards and three touchdowns in the win. No. 18 Frostburg State had no trouble bouncing back from last week's loss, rolling up the first 45 points of the game in a 59-7 win at William Paterson. The Pioneers have scored 28 points in six games this season. No. 16 Case Western Reserve matched program records with 49 points in the first half and 28 points in the second quarter on the way to a 63-28 win at Thiel. Case has rolled up a 6-0 mark but has played the fourth-worst schedule in NCAA Division III to date. No. 21 George Fox scored 41 unanswered points in the second half and turned a tight game into a blowout, defeating Willamette 58-12. The Bruins scored twice on drives of under 10 yards and ran for 355 yards in the victory.
