Offense

QB Hayden Bauserman, Jr., Shenandoah

Bauserman completed 32 of 60 passes for a school-record 559 yards and a school-record six touchdowns in the Hornets' 51-38 win vs. Randolph-Macon.

OL Bariah Staten, Jaleel Brown, Eric McDonel, Matt Hoover, Dammian Booker, Adrian

Opened holes for Emmanuel Stewart to set season and game highs of 219 yards rushing and 39 carries as Adrian came from behind to top MIAA rival Albion, 34-32. Stewart set the school record for career rushing with 3,084 yards on the same night that David Nutter (28 carries, 107 yards in the game) eclipsed 1,000 for his Bulldogs career.

RB Jaquan Hemphill
Jr., Hardin-Simmons

Hemphill ran for 293 yards on 26 carries and seven TDs and added a 64-yard touchdown reception in an 80-42 win over ETBU. The eight touchdowns ties the NCAA Division III single-game record.

RB John Smith
Sr., Husson

Smith rushed for a career-high and single-game school record 301 yards and two touchdowns on 39 carries as Husson ran past Endicott, 28-7. Smith broke loose for scoring runs of 75, and 11 yards and also had a 10-yard reception giving him a single-game school record 311 all-purpose yards.

WR Sam Mentkowski
Sr., UW-Oshkosh

Mentkowski matched a career-high with 10 catches for 207 yards and two TDs during a 37-20 home win vs. UW-Whitewater. Mentkowski gave UW-Oshkosh a 7-0 lead when he caught a pass near the Titan 45-yard line and raced to the end zone for a 96-yard pass play, the longest in program history.

WR Shedrick Davis
Sr., Louisiana College

Davis caught nine passes for 189 yards and two touchdowns against one of the best defenses in the conference this week. He had four catches for over 20 yards in the game including 117 yards on three grabs in the the third quarter alone.

WR Alex Victor
So., Allegheny

Victor hauled in four receptions for 174 yards and three touchdowns, while also adding 17 yards on the ground in a 57-40 win vs. Hiram. The three touchdown grabs went for 37, 67, and 65 yards as Victor upped his yards per catch average to a North Coast Athletic Conference-leading 27.8.

Defense

DE Ben Jahn
Jr., Willamette

Jahn recorded 13 tackles (10 solo) in a last-second loss to Lewis & Clark. That total included six tackles for loss and one and a half sacks.

DT Brandon McKandes
Sr., UW-La Crosse

McKandes finished with five tackles, including 3.0 quarterback sacks, in UWL's 35-13 win at UW-Stevens Point. He also recorded one pass breakup. McKandes helped limit UWSP to 175 yards of offense.

DE Dustin Tripp
Sr., Alma

Tripp posted a career-high three sacks and a career-best four and a half tackles for loss in a 30-10 win vs. Kalamazoo. He anchored a defense that held Kalamazoo to 88 yards rushing and 205 yards of total offense.

 

LB Jason Farlow
Sr., Linfield

Farlow dominated over the middle of the field with a game-high 13 tackles, two tackles for loss and one pass breakup. His presence from his linebacker position helped limit Whitworth to 98 rushing yards and 267 passing yards.

LB Charles Riga
Sr., George Fox

Riga led the Bruins' defense to a 27-7 victory over Pacific with a team-high 12 tackles, including half a sack. He also had one of the biggest plays of the game. After a blocked field goal, Riga returned the ball for a 94-yard touchdown.

LB David Adams
Jr., Catholic

Adams was instrumental in a staunch defensive effort in Catholic's 20-14 victory at Coast Guard. Adams had a team-high nine tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks and a forced fumble.

LB Ricco Aaron
So., Dean

Aaron collected a career-high 20 tackles, eight solo, including two for loss as the Bulldogs dropped Nichols, 10-3. He recorded a sack and had several key plays as Dean held Nichols in check.

 

CB Antonio White Jr.
Sr., Berry

White recorded two interceptions as he helped Berry to a 44-10 victory over Austin College. He returned the first into Austin College territory, and three plays later Berry was in the end zone, taking a 13-10 lead. His second pick led to a touchdown as well.

S Carson Ketter
Sr., Pacific Lutheran

Ketter finished with a game-high 11 tackles while recovering a fumble at the goal line and running 100 yards the other way for a touchdown, helping the Lutes edge crosstown rival Puget Sound 23-13.

S Fred Hargrove
So., Otterbein

Otterbein allowed 42 points, but really needed everything Hargrove had in a 49-42 win vs. crosstown rival Capital. He had 16 tackles and two interceptions, one in the end zone and another inside the 15 to seal the game in the fourth quarter. He also had 16 tackles in the win.

CB Marcus Winters
Jr., Trine

Winters had two interceptions, including one for a touchdown, in game that saw Trine set school single-game record for interceptions with six in a 44-7 win vs. Concordia-Chicago.

Special teams

K Hunter Daly, Jr.
Montclair State

Daly connected on four field goals from 27, 38, 38 and 41 yards, the last one the game-winner with 6:32 left in an 18-15 win vs. Kean. He became the first MSU player with four field goals in a game since Mike Stoehr set the record with five against Wilkes in October 1997.

P Evan Ellis, Fr.
Coe

Ellis averaged 47.7 yards per punt and had four of his punts downed inside the 20-yard line in a 34-7 loss to Wartburg. He had punts of 73 and 66 yards on the day.

RET William Phillips, Fr.
Sewanee

Phillips returned a punt 66 yards for a touchdown to give Sewanee an early 14-7 lead in a wild game vs. Hendrix. It's his second return touchdown of the season. He also had seven tackles and recovered a fumble.

ST Joel Reighard, Jr.
Juniata

Reighard helped block a field goal midway through the fourth quarter, putting Juniata in position to win the game with the D3football.com Play of the Week in overtime.
