Offense
QB Donnie McKillop, So., Middlebury
McKillop completed 27 of 31 passes for 344 yards and a touchdown in a 42-28 win against Bowdoin. He helped Middlebury convert seven of 12 third downs and 3-for-3 on fourth down (including rushing for 2 yds on fourth-and-2 and rushing for 13 on fourth-and-12).
OL James Greenlee, Bryce Sims, Deryck Jefferies, Mike Rowe, Mike Fowler, Trine
The Trine line did not allow a sack in 30 pass plays and paved the way for 472 yards of total offense in a 42-14 win against Defiance. Trine was 7-for-10 on third down and perfect in six red zone visits.
RB Thomas Bergerstock, Jr., Ithaca
Bergerstock tied Ithaca records for touchdowns, rushing touchdowns and points by rushing 32 times for 268 yards and five scores. Scored on runs of 75, 24, 9, 1 and 1 yards. Three of Ithaca's 10 scoring drives consisted only of Bergerstock-gained yards.
RB Matt Hurst, So., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Hurst saw his first collegiate action as a running back in relief of an injured Quincy Daniels and ran for 186 yards on 14 carries and tied a school single-game record with four rushing touchdowns. He averaged 13.3 yards per carry.
WR Alex Koors, So., DePauw
Koors caught eight passes for 220 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Five of his eight catches were for 25 or more yards including four for 35 or more in DePauw's 27-14 win at Centre.
WR Noah Koreman, Jr., Hartwick
Koreman caught 16 passes for 250 yards and three touchdowns in a 69-42 Hartwick loss at Ithaca. He caught touchdown strikes of 70 and five yards in the second quarter, and one for 27 yards in the fourth quarter.
WR Larry Beavers, Sr., Wesley
Beavers caught eight passes for 143 yards and two touchdowns and also completed a pass in the 41-9 win against Widener. His first touchdown was a 51-yarder from Shane McSweeny for the game's first score. In the second quarter, he added a 5-yard touchdown that broke a 6-6 tie and gave Wesley the lead for good. His 37-yard pass to Blair Newman in the third quarter set up another Wesley touchdown.
Defense
DL Austin Sturrock, Jr., East Texas Baptist
Sturrock posted two sacks for the second consecutive game, and also forced a fumble for the second straight game, in leading ETBU to a 35-21 win over Sul Ross State. He finished with eight tackles, five solo, in the win.
DL Paul Cynewski, Sr., Salisbury
Cynewski registered eight solo tackles all together and five tackles for a loss of 26 yards. He also tallied two sacks for 16 yards to help the Sea Gulls limit CNU to 3.3 yards per carry.
DL Pat Funk, Jr., Aurora
Funk had six tackles, two sacks, caused a fumble and broke up three passes, one of which was deflected into a teammate's arms and returned 13 yards for a go-ahead score. Illinois Wesleyan escaped with a 31-28 win.
DL Stephen Jackson, Jr., Louisiana College
Jackson had a game-high 17 tackles in a 36-28 loss to Hardin-Simmons, six solo. He added two tackles for a loss and half a sack.
LB Jeff Sanders, Sr., Hobart
Sanders broke the Hobart record for tackles with 20 stops (eight solo) in the Statesmen's 21-16 win at Carnegie Mellon. (Although, Justin Hager broke it as well, with 21, one solo.) Sanders was central to Hobart's defensive success that limited CMU to 93 fewer yards than Dickinson produced against Hobart last week.
LB Jim Smith, Sr., Cortland State
Smith had a game-high 11 tackles in the Red Dragons' 27-20 win at Rowan. He had seven solo tackles, three and a half for loss and one sack in the victory.
LB Jeff Brown, Jr., Case Western Reserve
Brown had 11 total tackles in the game, including nine solo tackles, which led the team. He also forced two fumbles and recovered a fumble, as well as recording a tackle for loss in a 48-21 win against Oberlin.
DB Drew Ziller, Sr., Carleton
Ziller had 10 tackles, nine solo, and blocked a game-tying field goal attempt in the fourth quarter as Carleton won 17-14 at No. 13 Bethel. Ziller led a Carleton defense that held Bethel to a 2-for-11 performance on third downs.
DB Chalankis Brown, So., Sewanee
Brown had four interceptions as Sewanee blanked Colorado College 19-0. He also added seven tackles, three solo and two for lost yardage.
DB Josh Goode, So., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Goode had a team-high 13 tackles (eight solo) in his first extended varsity action. He also forced a fumble in a 63-7 win against Texas Lutheran.
DB Eric Dardozzi, Sr., Randolph-Macon
Dardozzi had 14 tackles, nine solo, and ran back a fumble 46 yards for his second touchdown of the year. Dardozzi snuffed out a Privateer option play, picked off quarterback Michael Smooke's pitch and ran the ball back to put RMC up 10-7 in a 30-21 win. Nine of his tackles were solo stops, and he also collected 1.5 tackles for a loss.
Special teams
K Chuck Grabner, Jr., Washington and Jefferson
Grabner was perfect on PATs and 2-for-2 on field goals, from 34 and 45 yards. One came as time expired in the first half to tie the game, 10-10. W&J beat Thiel 34-24.
P Erik Fabry, Fr., Carleton
Fabry pinned the Royals inside the 15-yard line with three punts, with one downed at the 4-yard line. On his final punt, Fabry, standing in his own end zone, kicked it 54 yards, back into Bethel territory. The Royals went three-and-out and Carleton went on its game-winning drive. He finished with five punts for a 39.9-yard average.
ST Tommy Bawden, Sr., Washington U.
Bawden blocked an extra point and returned it 85 yards for two points in the Bears’ 30-27 victory at Wittenberg. Bawden, who made a season-high nine tackles on defense, also sent a punt 42 yards to the Wittenberg 2-yard line in his only attempt of the day.
RET Aerttrail Robinson, So., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Robinson set a UMHB and ASC record with a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown on his only touch of the night.
