A tip, a pick and a six

Central and Dubuque have played a couple of classic games in the not-too-distant past, and Saturday's meeting should be added to the list. Spencer Boeyink took a tipped ball 95 yards for the pick-6. It's the Play of the Week.

We solicit video of top plays from every Division III football program and this was our top clip.

Week 5 Play of the Week finalists

  • Follow the ball as Hanover wide receiver Daniel Passafiume scores on a 25-yard run to finish off the Panthers' rally from a 20-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat Rose-Hulman. (If you miss it on the sideline angle, you'll get it on the end zone angle.) Watch
  • Linfield freshman running back John Shaffer recovers from a stumble, reverses field and runs 32 yards for the game-winning touchdown at Pacific Lutheran. Watch for quarterback Mickey Inns' downfield block. Watch
  • C.J. Powell returns a punt 67 yards for a Heidelberg touchdown in the first quarter against Marietta. He sidesteps two tacklers and makes another miss right after catching the punt, then finishes with a dive for the pylon. Watch
