Luther came up with another big win on the blue turf, Grove City snappped a 33-game game losing streak, Berry, DePauw and Denison remained undefeated and Carnegie Mellon handed Thomas More yet another loss in Saturday's Division III football action.

Nick Slavens capped a 75-yard drive with a touchdown with 55 seconds left as Luther handed Dubuque its first loss of the season, 21-17. The Norse, playing their second game in a row on the blue turf, held the Spartans' potent offense to just 97 yards passing. The Spartans had been ranked in the Top 25 in the coaches' poll, but were deep in the others receiving votes section in the D3football.com Top 25.

Wesley Schools ran for 177 yards and three touchdowns on 35 carries as the Wolverines defeated St. Vincent 24-14. It's the first win for Grove City since Nov. 16, 2013, and the first win for Andrew DiDonato, in his second season as head coach.

Berry forced four turnovers and, while the Vikings only turned that into seven points, it was enough to help Berry defeat Centre 28-14. Berry is now 4-0 for the second consecutive season. Centre was able to cut the lead to 21-14 with three minutes remaining, but a failed onside kick would give Berry the ball back on the Centre 37-yard-line. With the defense expecting Berry to run out the clock behind, Slade Dale instead found Mason Kinsey in single coverage for a 36-yard score to put the game out of reach.

Andy Hunt had four catches for 133 yards and three touchdowns as DePauw defeated Wooster 51-24 in an early-season battle of unbeatens. Hunt had scores of 14, 57 and 36 yards in the win. Wooster had 370 yards of offense, but only five of them on the ground.

Canaan Gebele set a Denison school record with six touchdown passes in a 45-17 victory over Oberlin. Gebele accounted for 452 of Denison's 569 yards of total offense. He also completed 71 percent of his passes and did not commit a turnover in the win.

Carnegie Mellon forced four turnovers and Thomas More lost a third game in a row for the first time since 2007 as the Tartans picked up a 37-17 win. Alex Cline finished the day with four touchdowns, passing for three and running for another.

Buff State scored 24 unanswered points and rallied past RPI 33-21. The win lifts the Bengals to 3-0 for the first time since 1999 as Kyle Hoppy finished 22-of-34 passing for 263 yards with a touchdown, and added a team-high 46 rushing yards. RPI was held to just 89 total yards in the second half.

Lycoming finally got its first win of the season, as quarterback Chase Williams scored on a 11-yard run with 42 seconds remaining to lift the Warriors to a 44-41 win at King's. The Monarchs trailed 37-34 before taking a 41-37 lead on a 4-yard pass from Zach Whitehead to Trey Campbell to cap a 10-play, 75-yard drive.

After a season-opening loss to Brockport, Hobart has bounced back to win its next three games. Shane Sweeney threw for 321 yards and four touchdowns, breaking a career record and matching another in a 34-17 win vs. Endicott. St. John Fisher fell to 0-4 on the season, as Brian McGovern hit a 21-yard field goal with 3.4 seconds left to lift Hartwick past the Cardinals, 24-21. Brad Garcia had a career-best 14 catches for 271 yards in the win.

Micam Smith had a pair of interceptions and a pass breakup as Monmouth defeated Macalester 26-0 in the battle of the Scots. Macalester managed just 110 yards of total offense and had 19 carries for minus-15 yards.

Wilmington snapped a 40-game Ohio Athletic Conference losing streak as Luke Creditt hit PJ Meyer for a 30-yard touchdown pass in overtime to lift the Quakers to a 37-30 win vs. Capital. Creditt was 18-for-30 passing for 297 yards and five scores in the win.

Dean beat a Division III member for the first time since becoming a four-year school, defeating Becker 25-10. Dequan Brown returned a kickoff 93 yards for a touchdown and the Bulldogs scored on a pair of safeties in the victory.
