Here's a play that has it all

More news about: Pacific

We've been begging for a play with a decleater block. And we've gotten a couple in recent weeks, but this one tops the charts.

In Pacific's first homecoming since 1991, quarterback Trevor Okamoto is flushed out of the pocket on a blitz on fourth-and-12 from the Whitworth 13 yard line. After a huge block by tight end Will Marchbanks, Okamoto throws under more pressure to wide receiver Jordan Fukumoto.

Matt Richert is on the play-by-play. Scott Hermo is the color analyst.

We solicit video of top plays from every Division III football programs and this was our top clip.

Week 8 Play of the Week finalists

  • Christopher Newport's Kentel Noel returns a punt for a touchdown. Let's just say that description doesn't do it justice. Watch
  • Ithaca receiver Matt Crandall gets clotheslined, loses his helmet, but hangs onto the football against Springfield. Watch
  • Lewis & Clark quarterback Keith Welch hits wide receiver Shawn Evans with 1.7 seconds left on the clock, capping a 68-64 shootout in the best way possible, leaving no time for Puget Sound to rally. Watch
  • Linfield's Simon Lamson broke a tackle in the air on his way to a 28-yard touchdown run to to ice the Wildcats' victory against PLU.  Watch
