Susquehanna watched Cortland play in the Stagg Bowl and had reason to dream big: As the only team to beat Cortland all season, the River Hawks could envision themselves playing on bigger stages. December 12, 2024 River Hawks Return Home for NCAA Quarterfinals Duel with Bethel Susquehanna University's football team makes it eight home games on the year this Saturday as their NCAA Third Round success beating Saint John's 41-38 set them up with a Saturday noon matchup against Bethel, coming off a 24-14 win over Wartburg, in the NCAA Quarterfinals. The River Hawks enter the fray with an 11-1 record, getting this far with tournament wins over Hobart and SJU, while Bethel is 11-2 by way of three playoff victories over Coe, Lake Forest, and Wartburg.
December 11, 2024 Howes, Susquehanna doing just fine Kyle Howes once had eyes on playing quarterback at Susquehanna, then briefly thought about leaving. No surprise that everyone's glad he stayed.
