At the midpoint of the Liberty League schedule, the Statesmen sit alone atop the standings with an unblemished 3-0 league record.
October 12, 2024 Hobart football wins 4th straight, races past Buff State 31-3 Junior linebacker Mike McGhee ended Buffalo State's opening drive returning an interception 67 yards for a touchdown to set Hobart on a course for a 31-3 Liberty League win on Coyer Field this afternoon. After just two weeks of conference play, the Statesmen are alone in first place in the Liberty League.
October 5, 2024 Statesmen defuse Bombers 16-7 The Hobart football team got a stellar performance from its defense, record-breaking efforts from its special teams and points in every quarter to earn a 16-7 Liberty League win over Ithaca this afternoon. The Statesmen never trailed in snapping the Bombers 13-game Liberty League winning streak.
September 28, 2024 Statesmen rout Giants 52-9 The Hobart football team scored on seven of its first eight offensive possessions and held Keystone 26 points under its season average on the way to a 52-9 victory today. The Statesmen picked up their second straight win to improve to 3-1, while the Giants suffer their second straight loss to fall to 1-3.
September 21, 2024 Another 4th quarter surge powers Hobart to victory The Hobart football team scored 20 unanswered points in the fourth quarter on the way to a 27-12 win over Moravian on Boswell Field this afternoon. The Statesmen produced 152 of their 364 yards on the day in the final 15 minutes.
