January 9, 2024 OAC, PAC, NCAC, HCAC going bowling Four Division III football conferences are joining the ever-growing number of leagues sponsoring postgame bowls, as the Ohio Athletic Conference, Presidents' Athletic Conference, North Coast Athletic Conference and Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference will square off this November in Canton.
October 18, 2022 Anderson coach out, effective immediately Steve Rock, who joined Anderson as head coach in December 2017, is out effective immediately, with four games left in the season.
March 27, 2021 The Bronze Ball Returns to Anderson The Anderson University football team captured a 55-27 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) victory against Manchester University at Macholtz Stadium. With the victory, The Bronze Ball returns to Anderson for the first time since claiming a 37-34 overtime win on Nov. 13, 2010.
December 7, 2017 Franklin assistant gets nod at Anderson Steve Rock, who has been an assistant in Anderson's conference, the HCAC, for more than a decade, will be the next to get a crack at reviving a program which hasn't had a winning record since 2003.
