The Yellow Jackets would use eight plays to go the 98 yards, 80 of it through the air, as Egbers found the end zone from one yard out to give the visitors a 14-0 lead with 9:43 left in the second period.
  • An interception gave R-MC the ball on the HSC 29. Egbers capped the five-play scoring drive with a three-yard TD run as the Yellow Jackets went up 21-0 with 2:38 left until halftime. That would be the score at intermission.
