UW-Whitewater's home Friday night game (UW-Eau Claire at UW-Whitewater) gives us a nice compact opportunity to see three games in close proximity to each other and far enough from Chicago that you won't run into nearly as much traffic. While you have a handful of options on Saturday afternoon, the Monmouth at Lake Forest game is probably the one that will have the most playoff implications. You can finish the night with Illinois Wesleyan at Carthage. Carthage was denied a home game in the playoffs in 2004 because it did not have a sufficient press box, but that has since been rectified (at right).
If you want to use Whitewater as a launching point for a longer drive, you could consider heading to the Cincinnati area and seeing Defiance at Mount St. Joseph followed by Baldwin Wallace at Wilmington. Or you could take in games at Johns Hopkins (Friday night), Trinity (Conn.) and Western Connecticut.
Total: Three games, 103 miles start to finish.
