Offense

QB Nate Berkley, So., Thomas More
Berkley accounted for 333 yards in total offense in a 41-39 victory over Westminster (Pa.), completing 11 of 23 passes for 199 yards and a touchdown, while running 12 times for 134 yards and another score. He was only the second quarterback in school history to rush for more than 100 yards.

OL Lamont Moore, Karl Shackelford, Aaron Dixon-Proctor, Eric Gaskins, Julio Campos, Warren Korpanty, Shenandoah
The Hornets defeated Salisbury 23-22 behind 308 rushing yards against the No. 1-ranked rushing defense in Division III.

RB Thomas Pierandri, Sr., Trinity (Conn.)
Pierandri ran for a NESCAC-record 304 yards on 36 carries and scored a par of touchdowns in a win against Wesleyan, completing the Bantams' first perfect season in 10 years.

RB Jon Tillman, Jr., Coast Guard
Tillman carried 39 times for a school-record 277 yards and had 301 all-purpose yards and a touchdown, breaking the school single-game rushing record. Tillman, who finished the first half with 17 carries for 163 yards, became the first Coast Guard rusher to go over the 1,000 yard mark since 1996.

WR Blake Elliott, Sr., St. John's
Elliott caught 15 passes for 163 yards and two touchdowns in a 29-26 win against No. 10 Bethel. In all, Elliott had 256 all-purpose yards: 163 receiving yards, 80 kickoff return yards, 12 rushing yards and one punt return yard. Elliott's 15 catches was the second-most in SJU single-game history and he also extended his NCAA Division III record streak of a catch in 42 consecutive games. Elliott moved into second place on the Division III career reception list with 297 career receptions. Elliott had a 50-yard kickoff return that set up the game-winnning touchdown.

WR Brian Ekis, Sr., Westminster (Pa.)
Ekis had 13 catches for 221 yards, each of them school records, and scored two touchdowns in a loss to Thomas More.

WR Earl Morris, Jr., East Texas Baptist
Morris caught a school-record 11 passes for 129 yards and two key touchdowns in the Tigers’ 28-21 overtime win at Mary Hardin-Baylor. Morris had a 4-yard scoring reception in the second quarter, then sent the game into overtime with a 21-yard catch with eight seconds left in regulation. Morris’ 8-yard reception on fourth-and-5 in the OT set-up the game-winning score and pushed ETBU into a three-way tie for the ASC lead.

Defense

DL Kevin Culbert, Jr., Frostburg State
Had a game-high 17 tackles, including eight solos, eight for losses of 42 yards and a career-high 3½ sacks for 30 yards, in a 28-7 loss to nationally ranked Waynesburg.

DL Donnie Snider, Sr., Elmhurst
Snider had nine tackles (five solo), five for loss and three sacks in Elmhurst's 40-20 win against Illinois Wesleyan. He keyed a Bluejay defense that limited IWU to just 172 yards of total offense, including just 14 yards on 31 plays in the second half. Snider tallied three of the Bluejays' nine sacks (all in the second half) that tied a 14-year old school record for most sacks in a game. Over a span of five consecutive second half drives (15 plays) the Bluejays pushed the Titans back for minus-50 yards.

DL Ian Vincent, So., Christopher Newport
Vincent had four sacks against Averett, including a safety in final minutes of the game. He finished with seven tackles, all solo, five for loss.

DL Ryan Weinandt, Sr. St. John's
Weinandt had 18 total tackles, two and a half sacks for 15 yards, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and a blocked kick in the win against Bethel. Weinandt had a sack and fumble recovery on Bethel's last snap of the game after SJU took a 29-26 lead with 2:03 remaining.

LB Mike Fox, Jr., St. John Fisher
On a second-and-5 play from the Hobart 43-yard line early in the third quarter, Fox intercepted a lateral on a wide-receiver screen play and returned the fumble 36 yards for a touchdown. The touchdown proved to be the game-winning score. The 6-1 inside linebacker also blocked an extra point kick in the first quarter and recorded a game-high 15 tackles (eight solo).

LB Mike Dumaw, Sr., Brockport State
Dumaw had a season-high 17 tackles (six solo) and recovered two fumbles in Brockport's comeback victory at TCNJ that virtually locks up a fourth consecutive NCAA bid. His first recovery came at the Lions' 34 in the first quarter. His second recovery was the biggest, as he recovered a fumble at the Lions' 38 with the game tied at 13-13 with 2:56 remaining in the fourth quarter. Brockport then drove seven plays and the 38 yards for the winning score.

LB Bill Germscheid, Sr., St. Olaf
The senior captain had a career day leading St. Olaf past Gustavus 41-27. Germscheid dominated the second half with two interceptions and a fumble recovery. Germscheid scooped up a third quarter fumble and rumbled 19 yards for a touchdown to give St. Olaf a 28-13 lead. Later in the third quarter, Germscheid tipped and then intercepted a pass in the end zone and returned it to the 20 to thwart a potential game-tying touchdown. Late in the fourth quarter, Germscheid again came up with a big play by intercepting a tipped pass and taking it 42 yards for a touchdown to put the Oles ahead 41-27. He also had four solo tackles, onetackle for loss, one sack, and two passes defensed to go with his fumble recovery and interceptions. 

DB Kyle Westphal, Jr., Simpson
Westphal had 11 tackles (nine solo), three pass breakups, two fumbles caused and an interception in helping limit Luther to only 98 passing yards during the Storm's 21-7 victory

DB Ryan Repko, Fr., Lycoming
Repko scored two defensive touchdowns in a 45-22 victory against Widener last Saturday. In the final seconds on the first half he blocked a Pioneer punt and recovered it in the end zone for the touchdown. The score gave the Warriors a 24-7 halftime lead. Then late in the fourth quarter as Widener was threatening to pull thin one score of Lycoming, Repko intercepted a pass at the goal line and returned it 100 yards for the final touchdown of the game. It was the seventh recorded 100-yard interception return of the season.

DB Rocco Antoniello, Jr., Western Connecticut
Antoniello recorded 10 tackles (six solo), broke up a pass and intercepted two. He also recovered a punt and returned it 63 yards for a touchdown.

DB Joshua Johnson, Fr., Eastern Oregon
Johnson and the Mountaineers defeated Puget Sound 43-36 to clinch their best win total since 1999. Johnson had 13 tackles (eight solo), a tackle for loss and an interception.

Special teams

K Andy Beals, Sr., Millkin
Beals hit on three field goals, averaging 31 yards in distance, and was 4-for-4 on PATs as Millikin defeated North Central 39-16. He became the program's all-time scoring leader, passing running back Deon Packer.

H Pete Welsh, So., Catholic 
Set up for a game-tying field goal with just over a minute to play, Welsh picked up a bad snap and scrambled 26 yards on fourth-and-9, setting up the game-winning touchdown in a 27-23 win against Guilford.

P James Wilson, Jr., Linfield
Wilson averaged 45.2 yards on four punts, including a 71-yard effort that was downed at the 1-yard line, in a 35-14 win against Whitworth.

RET Kyle Sanders, Jr., Susquehanna
Making just his second career kickoff return and first since the end of the 2001 season, Sanders went 86 yards for a touchdown to give Susquehanna the lead for good early in the third quarter en route to a 49-33 win over Lebanon Valley. His kick return came moments after the Dutchmen had taken a 26-21 lead and was the first of 28 unanswered points scored by the Crusaders in the win.
