Offense

QB J.J. Tutwiler, So., Cortland State
Tutwiler threw for four touchdowns, three in the fourth quarter, in Cortland's 32-31 Upset of No. 2 Rowan. His 32 completions (in 50 attempts) and 431 passing yards and two completions and 5 yards shy of tying school single-game records. Completed 21 of 30 passes for 289 yards in the second half.

RB Keven Kelley, Jr., Tufts
Kelley rushed for a career-high 214 yards on 37 carries, including 149 of the Jumbos' 158 total yards in the second half of a 9-7 win against Trinity (Conn.).

RB Mike Johnson, Jr., Bethel
Johnson rushed 17 times for 187 yards (11.0 yards per carry) and a 93-yard touchdown in a 48-14 win at Concordia-Moorhead, the Royals' first-ever win at Moorhead. Johnson also had a 51-yard run on a second-and-34 play. In addition to his career-high 187 yards rushing, he also caught five passes for 39 yards and one touchdown.

WR Kirk Rogers, Sr., Hardin-Simmons
Rogers caught nine passes for 205 yards and three touchdowns, becoming the ASC's all-time touchdown leader in a 49-26 win against Howard Payne.

WR Brian Babst, Sr., Cortland State
Babst caught three touchdown passes (two in the fourth quarter) and added a 41-yard reception that set up the game-winning score in Cortland's 32-31 upset of Rowan. His 14 catches (for 219 yards) are tied for second-best in school history.

TE Jeff Gibbs, Sr., Otterbein 
Gibbs caught 11 passes for 164 yards and a touchdown in 43-28 loss to Baldwin-Wallace.

Defense

DL Blair Hammer, So., Wabash
Hammer spent most of his afternoon in the Earlham backfield, recording five tackles for losses of 31 yards and four sacks for 29 yards in a 41-7 win for Wabash. One of his sacks forced a fumble.

DL Russell Benditt, Sr., Albright
Benditt had six tackles, five for loss and two wacks as Albright came from behind to beat Wilkes 34-11.

DL Andy Keller, Jr., Hope
Keller rung up 13 tackles (three solo) and three sacks while forcing a fumble in a 29-15 win against previously unbeaten Kalamazoo.

DL Steve Schoenberger, Sr., Ohio Wesleyan
Schoenberger had four solo tackles and an assist, all for sacks totaling minus-13 yards in a 55-24 win against Denison.

LB Omar Lucas, Sr., Montclair State
Lucas keyed the MSU defense which held William Paterson to 58 yards rushing. Lucas had 16 tackles (nine solo) and had two interceptions, returning his last interception for 49 yards for a TD. He also broke up two other passes and had a sack.

LB Mike Pawloski, Sr., RPI
Pawloski led the team with 10 total tackles (six solo), plus an interception and a pass broken up in RPI's 32-29 win against Union.

LB Amir Womack, Fr., New Jersey City
Womack recorded six tackles, five solo, two pass breakups, one sack for a 12-yard loss, one fumble recovery, and two quarterback hurries in a 21-10 win against Kean. His fumble recovery at the Kean 9-yard line led to a touchdown on the next play from scrimmage.

DB Michael Newcomb, Sr., Rochester
Newcomb returned an interception 94 yards for a touchdown to put Rochester ahead to stay in the first quarter, then broke up a fourth-and-goal pass from the 2 with 4:48 to play to preserve Rochester's 25-20 victory against previously unbeaten Chicago. He finished with nine tackles, seven solo, while breaking up two passes.

DB Lyle Hemphill, Sr., Ursinus
Hemphill notched eight total tackles, including one for a loss, intercepted a pass and forced a fumble in a 31-7 win against Gettysburg.

DB Joe Cleghorn, Sr., Hiram
Cleghorn had two tackles, intercepted three passes and broke up four more in a 24-17 win against Oberlin.

DB Justin Charles, So., Louisiana College
Charles recorded six total tackles and returned a tackle 54 yards for a touchdown in a 20-3 win against McMurry. He had three tackles for loss, two sacks.

Special teams

K Andy Benicewicz, Jr., Plymouth State
Benicewicz was 4-for-4 on field goals, connecting from 23, 31 and 37 yards before a 20-yarder with eight seconds left propelled Western Connecticut to an 18-15 win against Coast Guard.

P Scott Schara, Sr., Coe
Schara punted seven times for 332 yards, averaging 47.4 yards a punt, with a long of 62 yards, and putting four within the 20-yard line in a 10-6 win against Wartburg.

RET Blake Elliott, Jr., St. John's
Elliott returned punts 66 and 46 yards for touchdowns in a 35-20 win against Gustavus Adolphus. He also caught nine passes for 162 yards and another score.

RET French Pope, So., Western Maryland
Pope returned a punt 45 yards for a touchdown and a kickoff 82 yards for a touchdown in a 47-21 win against Dickinson.
