Here's a tip

Hope defensive back Marcus Bradstreet defends the fade route well, but it's what happens afterward that is the most impressive. Bradstreet finds his teammate, tips it to him, and Santino DeCesare does the rest, taking the interception back 100 yards (107 or 108 in NFL measure) for a touchdown.

The Play of the Week is sponsored by the City of Salem, hosts of Stagg Bowl XXXIX.

We solicit video of top plays from every Division III football program and this was our top clip.

Week 11 Play of the Week finalists

  • In a similar vein, Union's Eric Zavadsky takes a deflection from senior wide receiver Justin Gallo and turns it into a touchdown, as Gallo's quick hands give Union a finalist play for the second consecutive week. Watch
  • Wesley quarterback Shane McSweeny shows his speed and running ability, pulling the ball down and running 46 yards for a touchdown to get the scoring started against Huntingdon. Watch.
  • Despite having his punt blocked, Cory Gay was not to be denied, kicking it away again for 43 yards in the fourth quarter of Shenandoah's 28-7 win at North Carolina Wesleyan. (Yes, legal since first punt didn't cross the line of scrimmage.) Watch
