Instead, the Eagles came back in a big way with a huge second half on their way to a 38-27 victory over Ursinus on Saturday afternoon at Knox Stadium.

    GETTYSBURG, Pa.- Sophomore running back David Vidovic (Hohenfels, Germany/Hohenfels) ran for a career-high 172 yards and three touchdowns as Juniata football held off Gettysburg 41-35 on Saturday afternoon at Shirk Field. It the Eagles’ first win on the Bullets’ home field since 1979. JC improves to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the Centennial Conference for the first time since 2013. Gettysburg falls to 1-2 and 1-1 in the Centennial.

    HUNTINGDON, PA.- On a hot and humid Saturday afternoon, Juniata hosted Dickinson in the Centennial Conference opener for both teams. The Eagles were just as hot as the weather as they defeated the Red Devils 41-21 to move to 2-0 on the year while Dickinson falls to 0-2.

    HUNTINGDON, Pa. Juniata and Susquehanna battled once again in the annual Goalpost Game at a cold and windy Knox Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Crusaders scored late in third quarter to break a 17-17 tie and held on for a 24-17 victory to take the Goalpost for the first time in three years. It was also Senior Day as the team recognized its 15 graduating senior players, two cheerleaders, and two student managers.
  • Ground Attack Leads Juniata Football to 20-7 Win at McDaniel

    WESTMINSTER, Md.- The duo of Matt Lehr (Dover, Pa./York Catholic) and Deonte Alston (Bel-Air, Md./Serra Catholic) combined for 157 yards and three scores as the Juniata football team defeated McDaniel 20-7 on Saturday afternoon at Kenneth R. Gill Stadium. Overall, Juniata ran for a season-high 168 yards.
  • Wild Finish At Knox As Muhlenberg Wins in Double OT over Juniata,41-35

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Max Cepeda scored on a 25-yard run on Muhlenberg’s first possession of the second overtime as the Mules won a back and forth contest with Juniata 41-35 on Saturday afternoon at Knox Stadium. The Eagles had a chance to win in the final seconds of regulation but Kevin Bonalle’s (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest) field goal attempt was blocked.

    COLLEGEVILLE, Pa.- Nick Bonavita’s (Sheffield, Pa./Sheffield Area HS) interception with 20 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter stopped an Ursinus threat and secured a 21-17 win for Juniata on Saturday afternoon at Patterson Field. The win, which ends a four-game winless streak for the Eagles, puts their record at 2-4 overall and 1-4 in the Centennial Conference. The Bears also are 2-4 and 1-4 in the conference.
  • Juniata Drops 41-5 Decision to Johns Hopkins

    HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata faced #8 Johns Hopkins at a cold and damp Goodman Field at Knox Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Blue Jays got out to a 24-0 lead and won by the score of 41-5. JHU remains undefeated at 5-0 overall and 4-0 in the Centennial Conference. The Eagles drop to 1-4 overall and 0-4 in the conference.

    LANCASTER, Pa.- Juniata scored first but host Franklin and Marshall put up 24 unanswered points as the Diplomats defeated the Eagles 24-7 on Saturday afternoon. F&M remains undefeated at 4-0 overall and 3-0 in the Centennial Conference. JC falls to 1-3 overall and 0-3 in the Centennial.

    CARLISLE, Pa.- Juniata and Dickinson battled on a gloomy and rainy Biddle Field on Saturday afternoon in the Centennial Conference opener for both teams. The Red Devils went up 10-0 in the first quarter and that was all they needed as Dickinson shutout the Eagles. Both teams’ records stand at 1-1.

The loss drops JC to 4-5 overall and 3-5 in the Centennial Conference while Moravian improves to 5-4 and 4-4 in the conference.

    HUNTINGDON, PA- Quarterback Ward Udinski (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks West) and receiver Kirby Breault (Elizabethtown, PA/Elizabethtown Area) both enjoyed career days as the Juniata football team cruised to a 56-31 win over McDaniel on Saturday afternoon at Knox Field. The victory evens the Eagles record at 4-4 overall and improves its Centennial mark to 3-4 while the Green Terror fall to 1-7 and 0-7 in the conference.

    HUNTINGDON, PA- The Juniata football team returned to the gridiron on a cloudy and cool Saturday afternoon at Knox Field. The host Eagles held a 24-7 lead at halftime as they cruised to a 38-10 victory over Ursinus. It was the Eagles’ first homecoming win in eight years.

    GETTYSBURG, PA- Juniata football trailed 21-17 heading into the fourth quarter but host Gettysburg scored a touchdown with eight minutes to play and added a field goal with just over two minutes remaining to defeat the Eagles 31-17 on Saturday afternoon at Shirk Field. Juniata is now 2-1 overall and 1-1 in the Centennial Conference while the Bullets are 1-2 and 1-1.
