Juniata's Marin Selected to Two Senior Bowl Games

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Senior offensive lineman Frank Marin (Whitestone, N.Y./Holy Cross) will have the opportunity to extend his season by two games. Marin has been selected to participate in two upcoming Senior Bowl games this month.

 

The first is the 6th annual National Bowl Game, which will take place in Miami, Florida this coming Sunday. The contest will be held at Ocean Bank Field at Florida International University Stadium.

 

The National Bowl Game consists of top players from Non-FBS schools. It showcases All-American and All-Conference seniors from over 30 states representing over 400+ Division 2, 3 and FCS schools. It is presented by East Preps LLC and founded by Michael Quartey who was a graduate of Franklin and Marshall.

 

The second game is the 7th annual D3 Senior Classic, which will be held on December 19 in Myrtle Beach, S.C. It is part of the National Showcase Event.

 

Marin was a captain and started all 10 games for the Eagles at the left guard position this season and all 41 games in his four-year career. He was a Centennial Conference Second Team selection for the second straight year.
