BETHANY, W.Va. -- The Grove City College football team forced four turnovers and blocked three kicks Saturday afternoon on the way to a 62-22 win at Bethany in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at Don Ault Field. The win is Grove City's 15th straight regular season victory, tying the program record set from 1925 to 1927. 

Offensively, senior running back Nico Flati (Aliquippa, Pa./West Allegheny) ran for 155 yards and four touchdowns on 20 carries while senior wide receiver Scott Fraser (Butler, Pa./Knoch) hauled in a pair of touchdown passes from senior quarterback Logan Pfeuffer (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township). 

Junior cornerback Boden Davidson (Scottsdale, Ariz./Scottsdale Christian) returned an interception 45 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter while junior linebacker Caleb Brubaker (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg) also had an interception. Senior nose tackle Kobe Bonanno (New Bethlehem, Pa./Redbank Valley) recovered a fumble and blocked a field goal while sophomore safety Jase Herrick (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) also recovered a fumble. 

Junior linebacker Ben Bladel (Coraopolis, Pa./Moon) forced a fumble on a sack and blocked an extra point. Meanwhile, senior safety Jason Muench (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) blocked a punt. 

Bonanno's recovery at the Bethany 6 set up a 22-yard field goal by sophomore kicker Daniel Sullivan (Simsbury, Conn./Simsbury) 2:27 into the game. Flati recorded the first of his four touchdowns with 9:15 left in the quarter as he scored on a 25-yard sprint up the middle. 

Fraser pulled in a 45-yard touchdown pass on the final scrimmage play of the first quarter, boosting the lead to 17-0. Four plays after Brubaker's interception, Flati scored on a five-yard touchdown run with 13:26 left in the first half. 

Fraser's 73-yard touchdown catch on third-and-20 gave Grove City a 31-0 lead with 10:08 remaining in the second period. Davidson caught a tipped pass at the Bethany 45 on the next scrimmage play and returned it to the end zone for his second collegiate touchdown. 

Flati scored on a 45-yard run with 1:53 left in the half as Grove City led 45-6 after 30 minutes. He capped the opening drive of the second half with a two-yard plunge at the 10:10 mark. 

Sullivan drilled a 33-yard field goal with 80 seconds remaining in the third quarter. Junior running back Alec Raffa (Ashtabula, Ohio/Lakeside) scored on a one-yard run in the fourth quarter to close the scoring. Sophomore Devon Thomas (Beaver Falls, Pa./Blackhawk) added the extra point.

Grove City finished with 475 total yards, including 256 rushing yards. Pfeuffer completed 6 of 12 passes for 172 yards. Fraser caught three passes for 130 yards. Sophomore Seth McGroerty (Middletown, Del./Red Lion Christian) had a team-leading four catches for 27 yards. 

Junior linebacker Jack Jollie (Jeannette, Pa./Penn-Trafford) led Grove City with nine tackles. He and senior defensive end Bryce Spolnik (McDonald, Pa./South Fayette) shared a sack. Brubaker added seven tackles. 

Grove City (4-0) held Bethany to 25 rushing yards on 24 attempts. Bethany quarterback Brett Philips completed 23 of 45 passes for 380 yards. 

The No. 7-ranked Wolverines will host No. 15 Carnegie Mellon (4-0) next Saturday in conference action at Thorn Field. The game will start at 2 p.m., Grove City's traditional Homecoming kickoff time.
