GETTYSBURG, Pa.  – Senior Doug Cummings (Saylorsburg, Pa./Pleasant Valley) added another weekly award to his resume following a record-breaking performance against No. 23 Muhlenberg College last Saturday, becoming the first kicker from Gettysburg College to be named to the D3football.com Team of the Week in 13 years.

Cummings became the first Bullet kicker on the D3football.com weekly team since Josh Huson '09 in 2008 thanks to a record-breaking field goal against the Mules. Cummings added a 29-yard field goal in the game along with an extra-point, six punts averaging 30.5 yards, and four kickoffs averaging 61.5 yards. The senior also contributed defensively with a pair of tackles on returns.
