The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) has announced that both of the NACC Football Playoff semifinal games scheduled for Saturday, April 10, have been canceled due to health and safety protocols.
North Division champion Lakeland University (3-0) was set to host South Division runner-up Benedictine University (2-1), while North Division runner-up Wisconsin Lutheran College (1-2) was slated to travel to South Division champion Aurora University (3-0).
The NACC has determined that the game between Lakeland and Benedictine, and the game between Aurora and Wisconsin Lutheran, will not be played. The NACC Football playoff will continue next week with divisional champions Aurora and Lakeland facing off Saturday, April 17, at Aurora. Wisconsin Lutheran will now travel to Benedictine the same day. Kickoff times have not yet been established. The status of both games is subject to change based on the relevant health and safety protocols governing each competing institution.
Tomorrow's (April 10) NACC football game between Rockford University and Eureka College will be played as scheduled with kickoff set for 3 p.m. The non-conference tilt between Concordia University Wisconsin and Ripon College will also be played as scheduled with a 1 p.m. start.
