ITHACA, N.Y. – Prior to the start of the Stagg Bowl last night in Shenandoah, Texas, D3football.com announced its four All-America Teams and two members of the Ithaca College program were recognized. Senior John Hadac was a Third Team member on defense, while fellow senior Will Gladney found a spot on the Honorable Mention Team. Ithaca has now amassed 150 total All-Americans in program history.

The 2019 season marks the first time since 2008 that at least three players were named All-Americans after the addition of Hadac's accomplishment. Gladney was named a Second Team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association a few weeks ago and senior Nick Garone earned Second Team All-America honors from the Associated Press earlier this week. In 2008, the Bombers placed four different players on All-America teams.

Hadac closes out his stellar career with his first career All-America nod by a major media outlet. This season, he was named an All-American by The CFB Network and was a Preseason All-American by FreeAgentFootball.com. Hadac also earned First Team All-Liberty League, D3football.com First Team All-East Region and ECAC First Team accolades. Along with that, Hadac was a Campbell Trophy Semfinalist and garnered D3football.com Team of the Week honors for his performance against Alfred on September 21.

This season, Hadac logged 51 total tackles as a defensive end with 14.5 tackles for loss (70 yards) and 9.0 sacks (58 yards). He notched 10 quarterback hits on the year, to go along with a forced fumble and fumble recovery.

Over his four years on South Hill, the Greene, N.Y. native tallied 128 total tackles (55 solo), 28.0 tackles for loss (118 yards) and 15.5 sacks (93 yards). He also had an interception returned for 53 yards in 2018 and blocked a kick that same season. Hadac forced five fumbles in his career as well. His 15.5 sacks rank seventh all-time in program history and the 93 lost yards are sixth. He tied for eighth all-time on the single season list with 9.0 sacks this year.

After one of the most prolific seasons as a wide receiver at IC, Gladney established single season records in yards (1,161) and touchdowns (16), while his 85 receptions are second all-time. On three different occasions this season, he hauled in three touchdowns to match a single game record.

Over four seasons on South Hill, Gladney set program records from receptions (258), yards (3,574) and touchdowns (38). He also owns the second-most receptions (14) and yards (236) in a single game. This year, he has been named Second Team All-American by the AFCA, First Team All-Liberty League and First Team All-East Region by D3football.com.
