CONWAY, Ark. - The 125th season of Sewanee Football came to an end on Saturday with a 47-17 loss from Young-Wise Memorial Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Hendrix sprinted out to 26-0 lead after 15 minutes of play with three of the four scores on the ground.
-Early in the second quarter, Alex Darras recorded a one-yard touchdown run to get the Tigers on the board. On the ensuing kickoff, the Tigers recovered an onside kick to maintain possession. However, on a third down and three play, Darras was picked off by Ronnie McShan who ran the ball back 65 yards for a pick-six.
-Sewanee added a 34-yard field goal by Brody Palmer to get the visitor's score into double digits.
-Late in the game, Micah Maes found Cooper Hancock's pass for five-yards in the endzone to make the score, 47-17.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Alex Darras threw for 151 yards on 13-of-29 passing, while Cooper Hancock posted a passing touchdown with 76 yards.
-George Morrice led the running game with 46 yards, while Allan Puri posted 75 receiving yards.
-Pierce Johnson led the defense with 10 tackles, 1.5 for a loss.
-Daniel May picked off the Hendrix quarterback twice and added four tackles.
HENDRIX KEY STATISTICS
-Kip Vanhoose had 188 yards on the ground with three touchdowns.
-Mason Adams had six total tackles, 1.5 via a sack, and forced a fumble.
