WAYNE, N.J. – William Paterson (0-4, 0-3 NJAC) dropped a 42-0 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) football decision to visiting Salisbury (4-0, 3-0 NJAC) Sept. 29.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Senior back Kadarrius Campbell cut left on a middle handoff for a 15-yard touchdown on the Sea Gulls' first possession (7-0, 10:45), and sophomore back De'John Broadwater swept around the right end for a 17-yard score and a 14-0 margin with 2:00 remaining in the first quarter.
  • Salisbury turned a Sean Carroll interception into seven points when sophomore quarterback Jack Navitsky found freshman Cameron Carlyle open in the back of the end zone for a 13-yard TD just two seconds before halftime (21-0).
  • Broadwater opened the second half with a dive for the right pylon, a four-yard touchdown that made it a 28-0 score with 12:38 on the clock.
  • Campbell's four-yard run off left tackle (35-0, 0:35 in third) and junior Mike-Ryan Mofor's 38-yard scamper up the right seam (42-0, 5:39 in fourth) finished the scoring.
