Stevenson's Ian Gould Named MAC Special Teams Player of the Week

ANNVILLE, Pa. – Stevenson University freshman kicker Ian Gould was named the Middle Atlantic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week Sunday, following his role in Saturday's 44-12 win at Wilkes University.

Gould totaled 14 points as he finished 3-3 on field goal attempts and 5-5 on PAT tries on the afternoon.  His field goals came from 33, 28 and 19 yards.  Gould also averaged 52 yards per kickoff on eight kickoff attempts on the afternoon.

For the season, Gould is 10-12 on field goal attempts and is 35-35 on PAT tries.  He is one of two kickers in the MAC who is perfect in PAT tries on the season, and his 7.2 points per game lead all conference kickers.  He ranks sixth overall in the conference in points per game.

Stevenson (5-4, 5-3 MAC) closes out the regular season Saturday at noon when it hosts Lycoming at Mustang Stadium.
