WAVERLY, Iowa-- On the 31-yard touchdown pass to classmate Robbie Anstoetter (Farley), senior Logan Schrader (Kildeer, Ill.) became Wartburg's all-time career leader in passing yards. Schrader needed 92 yards entering Saturday's game and surpassed the old record of 7,548 set by Nick Yordi (2007-09).
He later tied the career record in passing TDs (59) with his 26-yard pass to classmate Zach Hiller (Waseca, Minn.) on the Knights' first drive of the fourth quarter. Schrader is tied with Yordi and current offensive coordinator and 2011 Wartburg Athletics Hall of Fame Inductee, Matt Wheeler.
Senior Michael Bohlke (Manchester) set a new career mark with his 35-yard field goal and continues to extend his lead as the program's all-time leader in that category.
Classmate Brandon Domeyer (Manchester) is third on the career rushing TD leaders as he scored from two-yards out to have 43 for his career. He finished with 98 yards on the day on 17 carries. Anstoetter led all receivers with 90 yards on eight catches and one touchdown.
Senior Gunner Tranel (Vinton) led the defense with 11 tackles (two solo and nine assists). Sophomore Hunter Baldus (Cedar Rapids) had a career-best 3.0 tackles for a loss of 20 yards which included two sacks for a loss of 17 yards.
