Aberdeen, SD
Head Coach Andy Carr and his PC Saints Football Team continued their weekly workouts as they prep for a road trip to Rapid City. The Saints will face the South Dakota School of MInes and Tech. Originally scheduled for 1:00pm, the game was moved back to 2:00pm MST.
The Saints enter this week coming off a 41-20 loss at Crown College. PC managed 72 yards on the ground. Freshman WR/KR Keenan Honore helped the cause with a 50 yard touchdown run. On the defensive side of the ball, Junior LB Josh Boyda continued his impressive effort. Boyda led the way with 16 total tackles. Freshman S Austin Lake chipped in with 13 of his own.
The Hardrockers enter the game coming off a loss at Missouri Southern University. However, they pose a new challenge for the Saints. This will be the first NCAA Division II program Coach Carr's Saints will have ever faced. "Mines and Tech have been playing strong competition and they've been getting better," said coach. "They will create some challenges, but our guys will compete. They're going to go out and play their tails off just like they do every week."
