The PC Saints Football Squad heads to Saint Bonifacious, MN on Saturday 10/6/12 to take on Crown College. Kickoff is set for 1:00pm. Head Coach Andy Carr's team is coming off a 17-13 homecoming loss to Martin Luther College. The Saints ground game tallied 176 yards total. Sophomore RB Will Vealy rushed for 143 yards, including an electrifying 70 yard 1st quarter touchdown. Freshman Keenan Honore led the way on special teams with a total of 125 combined yards in both kick off and punt returns. One of those he fielded at his own 15 yard line and took 85 yards for a touchdown.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Saints came up with a pair of interceptions. Freshman S Austin Lake ended the Knights opening drive of the game with an interception of QB Luke Rothe. It's Lake's 2nd INT this year. Sophomore CB Chayson Lawson also came up with his 2nd interception of the year when he picked off Rothe at the beginning of the 4th quarter.

Crown College enters the game coming off a loss at Greenville College. Coach Carr acknowledging while they are a better team than they were a year ago, he likes how his team lines up against them. "They're an attacking style defensively and offensively, and I like how we match up against them." Coach also knows his team is more than ready to get back on the field. "We're looking forward to getting on the road and getting a chance to compete. We have a little sour taste left over in our mouths, and there's no better way to get the taste out of your mouth than to get back out there and get after it again."
