Mason Kinsey signed a free agent deal with the Tennessee Titans, following the 2020 NFL Draft, while Broc Rutter has signed with the San Francisco 49ers and Redlands cornerback Jeff Hector was picked up by the Baltimore Ravens.

Generally, about a half-dozen Division III football players sign as free agents with NFL teams, or get invitations to rookie minicamps. Those are typically announced in the first couple of days after the draft, with the top players able to weigh more than one offer in order to choose the best situation.

Rutter, the quarterback for North Central and the D3football.com Offensive Player of the Year, threw 56 touchdowns and just five interceptions, completing 71 percent of his passes while leading the Cardinals to the 2019 Division III national championship.

Kinsey, a D3football.com third team All-America selection, caught 65 passes for 1,221 yards and 16 touchdowns for Berry last season.

"I've been talking to the Titans for a long time," Kinsey said. "This is somewhere I really wanted to be. Coming from where I'm from, all you can ask for is an opportunity. This isn't a minicamp invite. I'm signed and I'm blessed to be put in a great situation with Tennessee."

Hector, an honorable mention D3football.com All-American, picked off eight passes as a senior, returning three of them for touchdowns.

This story will be updated as more signings are announced.
