Friday, Oct. 9: Bridgewater State at Mass-Dartmouth |

Only one Friday night game in Week 6 but it sets us up nicely to get in a three-game weekend. (Or at least two and three-quarters games.) We start in southeastern Massachusetts with a MASCAC battle featuring Bridgewater State at Mass-Dartmouth. It's a five-hour drive west from there (longer if you want to detour through Cooperstown) to get to upstate New York to see St. John Fisher at Morrisville State, for a 1 p.m. kickoff. In addition to being available and nicely placed, this game features Morrisville's Curt Fitzpatrick coaching against his alma mater. And this is one of the few times we'll be sending you on to a game where you will miss kickoff, but the evening game in the area is Utica at Brockport, and it kicks off at 6 p.m. It's a 2 hour, 20 minute drive from Morrisville, however, so you'll miss part of one of those games. You'll get two games, more or less, of the new-look Empire 8, however.
There are noon kickoffs on Saturday if you prefer, but they are pretty much all featuring teams we have seen or will see later. And none of them pair up with an evening game.
Total: Three games, 440 miles start to finish.
