    Scots center Patrick Mohorcic was voted team captain of the Allstate American Football Coaches Association Good Works Team, which is focused on community service. He's the second D-III captain in as many years, and one of several D-III players on the team.

The Diplomats held leads of 10-0 and 17-14 against the No. 11 Blue Jays before Hopkins rallied to escape with 28-23 win in Centennial Conference (CC) football action. The Diplomats (3-6, 3-5 CC) held Hopkins (9-0, 8-0 CC) to its lowest point total of the year, keeping the Blue Jays out of the endzone in the first 20 minutes of the play.

    LANCASTER, Pa. -- Greg Tellish picked up 219 all-purpose yards with four touchdowns to lead Susquehanna over Franklin & Marshall in Centennial Conference (CC) football action during a driving snowstorm in Lancaster. The win marks the first time the Crusaders (5-4, 4-3 CC) have defeated F&M (3-5, 3-4 CC) in program history.

    One of the most mundane plays in any football game – the punt – turned out to be one of the most exciting for Franklin & Marshall. A fake punt kept F&M's first scoring drive alive in the first quarter, and a blocked punt led to the go-ahead score in the fourth, as Franklin & Marshall handed Moravian a 14-7 setback in Centennial Conference (CC) play Saturday afternoon.
