Baldwin Wallace All-America defensive back Anthony Kendall has agreed to terms to sign as an undrafted free agent with the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League.

Kendall becomes the second BW football player in the last 12 years to sign with an NFL team as he joins Keith Darbut, who was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals and the Seattle Seahawks in 2011.

"I am a very proud coach to see Anthony sign with the Tennessee Titans," said BW coach Jim Hilvert. "Anthony showed that his perseverance at BW gave him an opportunity to reach his dream of playing in the NFL. What a great story for a great player, student-athlete, and young man."

Kendall had been highly sought after as an undrafted free agent, having been invited to the minicamps of the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns before the Titans came around with a contract.

In his final season, Kendall was the 2022 Lee J. Tressel Ohio Athletic Conference Defensive Back of the Year and led the Yellow Jackets, the OAC, and was tied for 13th in NCAA Division III with a career-high 12 pass breakups as a starter in all 10 games. He led BW and was tied for third in the OAC with a career-best three interceptions. Kendall was fourth on the team with a career-high 56 tackles. He also recorded a career-best four tackles for loss, his first career forced fumble and first career sack at Capital on Oct. 29. Kendall was selected as a D3football.com All-American, as well as an American Football Coaches Association, Associated Press, and an All-OAC first-team selection.

For his career, Kendall appeared in 31 games and recorded 127 tackles, including 10 for a loss, 20 pass breakups, six interceptions, one forced fumble and one sack. He was a two-time All-OAC selection.

Off the field, Kendall was an Academic All-OAC selection, Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar, and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.

With Kendall on the field, the Yellow Jackets posted an overall record of 30-12 with a 27-11 mark in the OAC.
