Aurora offensive tackle Chris Toth, Union running back Ike Irabor and Bethel guard Travis Sinclair were invited to NFL rookie minicamps after Division III football players were shut out in the NFL draft for the second season in a row.

Toth was picked up by the Chicago Bears, Irabor is going to the New York Giants' rookie camp and Sinclair is headed to the Vikings.

The most recent Division III player drafted was in 2021, when UW-Whitewater offensive lineman Quinn Meinerz was selected by the Denver Broncos in 2021. The last three D-III draftees have been offensive linemen, and have been the only players drafted from D-III in the past decade.

Toth was a first team D3football.com All-America selection, anchoring a Spartan offensive line unit that averaged 471.9 total yards per game, 203.9 yards rushing and 268.0 passing per game. The Spartans made the Division III quarterfinals. Toth was invited to participate in the Hula Bowl in January. Irabor was a third team D3football.com All-America pick in 2019 and a three-time All-Region pick. He had 121 carries for 765 yards and 10 touchdowns last season. Sinclair was a D3football.com second team All-Region selection for the Royals and allowed zero sacks all year for a team which went to the national quarterfinals.

Anthony Kendall, a cornerback with Baldwin Wallace, has two minicamps to attend, as the hometown Cleveland Browns and the New York Jets have each invited the D3football.com second team All-America pick to join them. Todd Simmons, who played just seven games at wide receiver for Dubuque last year, has been invited to join Toth in the Chicago Bears' camp. Joe Jung was invited to take part in the Green Bay Packers' camp.

Check back for updates, as more Division III players may sign or receive camp invites.
