It was a pretty good week for the D3football.com Top 25, unless you were UW-River Falls. The Falcons lost at UW-Platteville, and Carnegie Mellon had a close win, but teams up and down the rest of the poll rolled to wins.

Kaleb Blaha recorded 255 yards of total offense and two total touchdowns but it wasn't enough as UW-Platteville had a happy Homecoming with a 21-14 win against No. 14 UW-River Falls. Two Pioneer quarterbacks combined to complete 16 of 30 passes and Braeden Katcher threw for a touchdown and ran for another in the win. The Falcons (4-2, 2-1 WIAC) mounted a 13-play, 77-yard drive that started with 4:37 to play, but a fourth down play at the Platteville 11 saw Sean McMillan pressure Blaha into an incomplete pass. The Pioneers held again on fourth down with three seconds left to secure the win.

A 42-yard interception return for touchdown by Logan Young at the 7:59 mark of the fourth quarter gave No. 20 Carnegie Mellon the lead for good as the Tartans edged W&J 12-7. The Presidents had taken a 7-0 lead on a 41-yard touchdown catch by Keaton Hall from the arm of Jacob Pugh late in the first half. CMU (7-0) responded with a pair of short Cole Hanna field goals before the defense got the Tartans their only touchdown. The Tartans put up 11 tackles for loss in the win.

Connor Morton ran for three touchdowns and Colton Smith caught two scoring passes from Blake Eaton as No. 7 Linfield held off Pacific 42-21. Linfield improved to 5-0, securing the program's 66th consecutive winning season, a national record spanning all levels of college football. The Streak began in 1956 when Linfield recorded the first of 66 straight plus-.500 campaigns. The Streak” is the longest run of consecutive winning season in the history of college football in any division or at any level. The second-longest winning streak is held by Mount Union, at 42 years.

Jay White ran for 217 yards on 17 carries and two scores, including a 75-yard scamper, and No. 16 Delaware Valley ran away from Lebanon Valley, 34-10. The Aggies jumped out to a 7-0 lead two plays into the game when White took the opening carry for 25 yards and then Louie Barrios IV ran for a 45-yard touchdown. Leb Val drove to the Aggies' seven on their first possession, but had to settle for a 24-yard Devin Crone field goal. Del Val responded with a 25-yard touchdown from White and led by double digits the rest of the way. Delaware Valley (7-0, 5-0 MAC) finished with 337 yards on 39 carries.

Hardin-Simmons rolled up 294 yards on the ground and limited East Texas Baptist to just 94 yards of total offense and defeated the Tigers 27-7. HSU (5-1, 3-1 ASC) scored 17 unanswered points in the second half after ETBU took advantage of a Gaylon Glynn fumble. The Tigers (2-4, 2-3) started on the 16-yard line and were in the in end zone three plays later.

No. 12 Ithaca and No. 13 Cortland continued their march toward a possible unbeaten showdown in the Cortaca Jug, as the Bombers blanked St. Lawrence 40-0 and the Red Dragons defeated Hartwick 69-7.
