Earlham tied the record for the longest losing streak in NCAA Division III history on Saturday. Salisbury held off Montclair State in a battle of unranked-but-undefeated NJAC teams, while Central won a nailbiter over Simpson in the ARC, and Centre stayed in the SAA title hunt.

Anderson made sure there was no chance Earlham would avoid the record book, as the Ravens jumped out to a 21-0 lead after the first quarter and rolled to a 63-0 victory vs. the Quakers. Earlham's loss, its 50th in a row, meant the Quakers tied Macalester for the longest losing skid in Division III history. The Quakers face Franklin next week.

Salisbury jumped out to a 17-0 lead after one quarter at home against Montclair State before the Red Hawks put the clamps on the Sea Gulls' option attack. Montclair held Salsibury to one first down in the second half and pulled within three points on Hunter Daly's 49-yard field goal. The Redhawks had a chance to take the lead after Salisbury fumbled the ball away on its own 25. But Montlcair State went backwards 13 yards on that drive and couldn't get back into the Sea Gulls' territory on its final two possessions. Salisbury improved to 6-0, 5-0 in the NJAC and closes the season with games against Top 10 foes Wesley and Frosburg State.

A couple of mistakes on an extra point attempt opened the door for Central (7-0) to eek past Simpson 17-16 and stay unbeaten. The Storm took the lead 16-10 midway through the fourth quarter and lined up for the extra point. The kick was good, but Simpson was flagged for a penalty and missed on its second try. With 21 seconds left Dutch quarterback Blaine Hawkins found tight end Ross Norem in the end zone. Jon Alberts' extra point kept Central's perfect record in tact.

Misericordia continued its Cinderella run by scoring 15 points in the fourth quarter to beat Lebanon Valley 25-21. Quarterback Brady Williams threw touchdown passes to Isaiah Williams and Isiah Solomon, and the Cougars (5-1) won their fifth in a row. The five wins match the amount that the program had over its first six seasons of existence. Misericordia is tied for first in the MAC with Delaware Valley and a game ahead of Stevenson, and will play neither in the conference's unbalanced schedule.

Gavin Gartner kicked three field goals and Krystian Abbott added a touchdown as Coast Guard defeated Springfield 17-14. The Bears held the Pride scoreless in the second half while Springfield held Abbott to 25 yards on 25 carries.

Wabash quarterback Jake Reid threw a touchdown pass to Matt Penola midway through the first quarter for the Little Giants' only score of the day. Fortunately that was all Wabash needed in a 7-0 victory over Ohio Wesleyan. The teams went a combined 6-for-28 on third down and 0-for-6 on fourth down.

Trevor Carnell's one-yard touchdown run with less than five minutes to play lifted Centre over Trinity (Texas) 33-28, keeping the Colonels in the SAA title picture. Carnell finished with 104 rushing yards and teammate Colin Burnam added 115 more for Centre (5-1).

With the help of a key turnover and a defensive stop, Texas Lutheran scored two touchdowns in the final 3:44 to edge East Texas Baptist 28-21and improve to 5-1, 4-1 for a share of second place in the ASC. TLU junior rusher Austin Mathews had the second-best outing of his career with 141 yards on the ground and three scores. He also led the team with five receptions for 62 yards. The Bulldogs' defense turned up big on several occassions and put a lot of pressure on the Tigers' quarterback, sacking him five times.

Ithaca bounced back from last week's loss to RPI with a dominant defensive performance in a 24-0 win at Union. The Bombers (4-2) yielded just 42 yards on 29 carries and Wahid Nabi threw for two touchdowns in the first half.

Denison coughed up the ball five times but managed 14 fourth-quarter points to nab a victory against DePauw 20-12. The Big Red's only conference loss remains the 68-66 shootout two weeks ago against Wittenberg.

Millikin and Carthage had a largely back-and-forth matchup worthy of the competitive CCIW before the Big Blue came away with the 32-29 win. Jordan Smith -- a star wideout with 159 receiving yards and playing in Millikin's prevent defense -- intercepted Red Men quarterback Billy Dury with just seconds left in the game to finalize the victory.

Going into the game on opposite ends of the UMAC standings, MacMurray and Crown ended regulation tied at 14. Two overtimes later, the Highlanders scored and the Storm failed to match them, making win No. 1 for Crown's season still elusive. MacMurray senior defensive lineman Javon Muhammad had five tackles for loss, including three sacks, in the largely defensive matchup.

George Fox worked at exorcising its demons from last week's loss by thumping Willamette 28-6 on the road. While the Bruins far outpaced the Bearcats in offense (343 compared to 149 yards), the teams took advantage of some porous offensive lines, each notching 11 tackles for loss.

The NACC had six 1-4 teams going into the weekend, and four of those teams still have just one win to their name this season. Doubling their win totals were Benedictine, which held off a fourth-quarter rally from Wisconsin Lutheran to win 40-31, and Rockford, which snatched a 37-20 win from Lakeland.
