Ursinus scored 21 unanswered points in the second half, rallying from a six-point halftime and went on to defeat Gettysburg 49-39 and improve to 5-0. Junior wideout Al Desiderio had four catches for a game-high 124 yards and touchdowns of 60 and 53 yards. Saturday's scores.

Randolph-Macon archrival Hampden-Sydney improved to 5-0 as well, beating Catholic 35-27 and keeping pace in the ODAC. Ripon remained atop the Midwest Conference and improved to 5-0 with a 56-14 win at Knox and SUNY-Maritime got to 5-0 with a 43-20 win at Anna Maria.

Cortland State remained undefeated, shutting out TCNJ 37-0. The Red Dragons keep pace with No. 17 Montclair State who took care of Kean 21-7 on Friday night.  Case Western Reserve survived a 90-yard fumble return by Allegheny and a touchdown in overtime by blocking the extra point to defeat the Gators 24-23. Franklin crushed Mount St. Joseph on the road 41-10 to take a leg up in the HCAC race. Capital defeated Heidelberg 60-50 in another shootout.

Puget Sound suffered its second heartbreaking loss in as many weeks.  One week after losing to Whittier 42-39 in six overtimes, the Loggers watched Richard Isett nail a 49-yard field goal as time expired to lift Pacific Lutheran to a 31-28 victory.

St. Lawrence defeated Hobart 24-21, giving the Saints their first win over the Statesmen since 1991.  Widener's Laquan Robinson returned two punts for touchdowns and intercepted a pass to ice the Pride's 35-20 win against FDU-Florham. Bethel remained undefeated and matched St. Thomas atop the MIAC with a 19-17 win against St. Olaf. St. Norbert crushed Monmouth 48-2 to remain in a tie for second in the MWC.

Alex Hendrickson had 43 carries for 310 yards and two touchdowns but Brockport State threw three interceptions and lost to Morrisville State 48-41.
